Sunlight bathed the surroundings as Mu Yang, carrying Mu Xue on his back, emerged from the recuperation room and made his way to the spectator stands. Taking a seat beside Mu Qingyuan and Yun Yan, he greeted, "Mom, Dad, I'm back."

"It's good that you're back," they replied, but to Mu Yang's surprise, Mu Qingyuan and Yun Yan only smiled faintly, engaging in conversation as if the past events no longer bothered them.
