“My, my.” Kazu joked about. “Shall we begin?”

Kai revved up his resolve, charging up enormous amounts of core energy that melted every plant life that grew in the surroundings.

“Let’s try this again, Kazu.” Kai smirked.

In an abrupt burst, quick as lightning, Kai rushed forth in full sprint to deliver a destructive punch a second time.

To his annoyance, the results of his efforts were exactly the same, yielding not even a scratch on any part of his opponent.

“You see, Nagano. A Daemon is said to embody Mother Nature’s will to maintain the balance between good and evil.”

Kazu grinned, delivering a nasty combo to his adversary, drawing blood from Kai in every strike that connected.

“There can never be a side that is absolute. There cannot be a world where there is only good, and where there is only evil. Never say never, however, as it still within the field of my abilities to imagine such a situation to become reality. But, where’s the fun in that?”
