Chapter 13

Meeting with Corey and the gang.

After waking up from that dream I was covered in so much sweat, I went to take a shower as I couldn't fall asleep anymore. I then decided to meet up with Corey and his friends when dawn broke. I had to discuss some things with them since they had been in here longer than I have. I had to know if I had a chance of ever leaving this place.

I couldn't handle staying in this place any longer, now was the only opportunity I had to leave, as Lysander and Vega were nowhere to be found. Walking through the dormitories, reaching his room I knocked and luckily all of them were in his room. They were all surprised to see me, as they hadn't seen me for days.

I got down to business after having breakfast, we gathered around and I told them about my situation with Ambrose, how I got to this place, Lysander and Vega's connection with Ambrose. I gave them time to digest all that was said before proceeding with the plans to escape this place.

Corey broke the silence by telling us about his private plans of leaving the academy in secret. We were all surprised, he walked to his wardrobe and brought out a map alongside a big box, he sat down back with us on the floor to spread out the map. The map was quite large with different locations marked on it, the map did not look like that of the human world but of the world of the Gods.

Immediately I looked at him, wondering how he had something so valuable hidden in his wardrobe of all places. Everyone in the room brought together different ideas and hidden locations that they knew about in the academy that could be of help to our plans. There was only one thing that wasn't quite clear to me and that was where we were currently.

I think Corey could sense my distress, when he stylishly taped me and said that we should see later after today's discussion was over. We were all ready to return to our loved ones. Stacey, Vanessa, Heather, Becca and Jacob were orphans that was sold to Lysander since there were little so all they have ever known was the academy. They were all down to help so we all decided to meet tomorrow at the library to look for the map of the human world.
