New world

As I went through the space between universes, I realized that I was huge and would be noticed if I was sent to that world with my current size. So, I used my shapeshifting skill to bring my size down to 1 meter in length. After a while, I was finally able to get to the new world. Everywhere around me was forest so I decided to fly up into the air to get a better look around the place.

When I was up in the sky, I looked around and everywhere was forest. I could see some wolves and goblins here and there. But, that is when I saw a cave, it looked exactly like the cave Rimuru came out of. Since I was going to be with Rimuru to steal his skills, I decided to meet him as soon as he was born. Therefore, I slithered into the cave so I could meet him when he spawned. I slithered around the cave for a while until I got to an area with a bunch of grass.

I remembered from the anime that when Rimuru spawned he ate a bunch of this grass, so since it's still here it must mean that Rimuru has not been sent here yet. As I waited for Rimuru to spawn I thought about devouring Veldora like Rimuru did in the anime. I thought it was possible, so I asked the system, 'System, is it possible for me to devour Veldora like Rimuru did in the anime?'

[Replying to host, host can devour Veldora and store him like Rimuru. Host can also permanently devour Veldora whenever he wants to gain his skills.]

[Suggestion for Host, if Host wants to follow the same route as Rimuru the host could devour Rimuru for his skills then devour Veldora and use him his Magicules when naming monsters.]

Hmmm. I see so the system thinks I should devour Rimuru so I can get his skills now and just follow the route Rimuru did. I also think this is the best idea because if I were to let Rimuru make the Monster Kingdom, then they wouldn't be as loyal to me as him when I devour him and take over the kingdom. If I were to make the Kingdom myself then i would have all of the monster's loyalty and I wouldn't have the problem of converting them.

So, that's what I decided to do. Instead of following Rimuru then eating him when he gets a bunch of skills, I'll just kill him now.

After a couple of days waiting in the same area a slime finally appears. I already know he's Rimuru so I just go ahead and devour him.

[New skills gained, Great Sage and Predator]

'Hmmm, system what would happen if you fused with Great Sage,' I thought.

[Replying to host, if the system fuses with Great Sage all it would do was gain the abilities of Great Sage. There wouldn't be that much of a difference in ability for the system]

'Eh, I won't really have any use for it so lets just fuse it.'

Alright, now that we've done that lets fuse Predator and Devour.

'System, what does the skill Gluttonous Devourer do?'

[Replying to host, the skill Gluttonous Devourer allows host to have infinite space in the host's stomach along with the previous abilities of devour. Host no longer has to wait to devour more. Theoretically, the host can devour anything as long as the strength between individuals are not too big in difference.]

Interesting, well it doesn't matter much, lets go get Veldora. So, I slithered through the caves until I got near where I sensed Veldora. As soon as I got close to the dragon he yelled mightily, 'You lesser being, why have you approached me?!"

I replied with, "A-ah well I don't know where I am so I slithered my way over to this big energy, hehe, well sorry for disturbing you Mr. Dragon."

"Wait no don't go yet! *cough* I mean, how about we talk for a bit young serpent. I haven't spoken anyone since I've been sealed here." Veldora replied with a slight blush.

I then said, "Oh, you were sealed here? Well, that explains that barrier that is around you, hmm. I think I can get you out of there on one condition."

He replied quickly, "What is it?! If you can get me out of here I would do anything."

"Well, I would let you out of here if you..." I played around with him a bit and didn't finish my sentence until he said, "You would let me out if I what?!"

I said unhurriedly, "I would let you out if we could become brothers, we both take the last name Tempest."

Veldora replied enthusiastically, "SUBARASHII!! A GREAT NAME FOR A MIGHTY BEING LIKE ME!" he kept saying, "THEN I WILL NAME YOU ASMODEUS TEMPEST!!"

After Veldora stopped yelling I said, "Well, the only way I can get you out is if I devour the shield around you, so I will have to devour you and the barrier before I can let you out."

Even with the news Veldora didn't let it dampen his mood, "That is fine my brother I trust you enough, go ahead and do what you have to do, I'll see you when I get out."

With that finished I devoured Veldora and kept him in my stomach so I could use him to name monsters. I do kind of feel bad for doing this when he trusts me as his brother. Maybe I'll compensate him with allowing him to be my slave instead of devouring him.

This is kind of off topic with my novel but I just want to know how akikan40 can pump out so many chapters a day... Like I just don't understand, and his chapters are pretty long too.
