The Devil of Yuragi-sou

Just a warning before you read this, if you want an "alpha" MC who solves problems with killings then don't bother with this fanfic, its not for you. I'm already tired about people complaining about my MC being a "beta" because he spared a single enemy, so if you don't want that, please don't bother reading this. You have been Warned! ************* Just something that popped into my head after re-watching Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san, and re-reading Hataraku Maou-sama. Anyway, the Main Character, Alex, suddenly found himself in the body of the Great Demon King Satan who almost conquered the world; Ente Isla. After that, he suddenly heard a voice speaking to him. And its not a system. **** Also, this is a Slow Paced Slice of Life, so if you don't like it, please leave quietly. And if you like MC who is a badass that will just slaughter his opponents, then this story is not for you. The MC, despite being OP, doesn't like conflicts, and will only show his power once in awhile. He only wanted to raise and take care of....well, just read it, if you're interested.

Chapter 16: Hurt

AN: Before we start, just informing you all that this might be the last chap for today. I'm going back to Manila to my parents, I'm preparing right now since my flight will be later tonight. This chap is also a little shorter.

-------------------------------

"Thoughts?" Alex was sitting on a couch inside a room. Laying on his lap is Emi, who was frowning after listening to Alex's story.

They haven't left the Gotei 13 yet, though they did just finished repairing everything, Alex helped them, its as easy as snapping his fingers after all.

"...Its...hard to believe.." Emi finally squeeze out those words. So the reason why she was being targeted by the angels is not only because of her angel blood, and not only because of the Yesod Fragment on her sword, but because she is the daughter of Lailah.

That, in itself, is more than enough for the heaven to turn their wrath on her. As for why she wasn't hunted when she was still young, Emi can only guess that the angels wanted her to kill Satan because they don't want to do the "dirty" work.

The angels and possibly the church lied to her, telling her that her sword could point her where the demon king is, but the truth is that, the Yesod Fragment from the sword and the Yesod Fragment from the Devil King's castle merely attracted each other.

They were using her as just a tool because they don't want to "dirty" their hands, and once everything is over, they will just reap all the benefits.

"Well, I could test it for you." Alex offered, "Jude actually examined my body, and I am indeed a human with a blood of something like a Sephira...its pretty...demonic, but still a Sephira."

"No need to test me, I trust you." Emi said, before she suddenly furrowed her brow and let out an amused snort as if she thought of something ridiculous.

Alex raised an eyebrow, "What is it?"

"Just something ridiculous..." Emi answered, she stared at Alex for awhile before continuing, "....Since we have the blood of Sephira, are we related?"

Alex blinks his eyes, staring at Emi in slight shock. Though he did managed to recover quite quickly and flicked her forehead.

"Ow—?! What was that for you idiot?!"

Alex just released an amused snort, before replying, "We're not related, though we do have the same blood...hmm, let's just say we have the same ancestors...like Adam and Eve."

"I'm just joking though." Emi rolled her eyes.

Alex was about to say something when a knock was suddenly heard. Emi raised her head from his lap and sat up, looking at the door.

"Come in." Alex said, as the door slowly opened, revealing a fully healed Sagiri wearing a black kimono with yellow floral designs, her hair was also done on a side-bun.

"Alex, Emi." Sagiri smiled and nodded before walking in.

"Oh Sagiri, you all okay now?" Alex grinned as he wave at her.

Emi just remained and observed her. She can see that Sagiri seem different from before, and she's not talking about Sagiri's appearance.

Sagiri seems more cheerful, and refreshed, like a mountain just got offloaded from her shoulders.

Emi knew the reason why. Though since Sagiri did not speak about it she just remained silent.

"So wanna go back with us?" Alex asked.

Sagiri shook her head and just have him a smile, "There's still a lot of things to do here so I won't be able to come with you. I will probably stay here for a few more days along with Hibari, so...can you inform the others?"

Alex nodded his head and gave a smile, "Sure, so we'll be going now then?"

Sagiri nodded as Alex and Emi disappeared as she released a sad sigh and sat down on the couch.

Even though finally admitting to herself that she is in love with that man is definitely refreshing feeling, but it also really really hurts knowing she can't be with him.

She can't find it in herself to be the third...fourth wheel of their family of three. She is also very selfish, and she knew that unless Alex and Emi broke up then she has no chance.

After all, she also wanted the man she loves for herself alone.

"Damn," she cursed as she gripped her chest tightly, biting her lips as if she's in pain,

"It really hurts."

------------------------------------------

Alex and Emi appeared in the dining room of the Inn, where Chitose was walking in circles with a worried look.

When she saw Emi and Alex appeared a relieved sigh escape her lips, though she immediately became worried when Sagiri and Hibari didn't come with them.

"Alex, Emi, where's Sagiri and Hibari?" She asked, The other residents of the Inn also looked at them, waiting for their answer.

"Ah, well, they're fine, just finishing some things back in the Gotei 13. Sagiri said that They'll stay there for a few days, and don't worry they're fine." Alex answered as Chitose finally sighed in relief.

"Thank goodness."

Genshiro, who was sitting in the corner suddenly stood up, "Hey boss, I need to return to tend to my clan, tell them that I already returned and some stuff."

Alex nodded, "Sure, take your time."

Genshiro grinned and opened a black portal before walking towards it and disappeared.

"Well, I should probably go to work as well." Albert also stood up and walked out, but not before giving Chitose a side glance.

Chitose noticed this and smiled at him, causing Albert to grin and left the room.

Alex noticed this and couldn't help but think of something ridiculous. Is Chitose a Shotacon? Or is Albert the Lolicon? Hmm, questions, questions...

Alex looked around and didn't see Harribel and her Fraccion, along with Alice. However, he didn't worry since he knew that Harribel absolutely won't let anything happen to her.

Not only her, Alex was sure that if the Angels actually tried to even touch a strand of her hair, more than half of demons would rage and will immediately declare war against the heaven even without his orders.

Its not because she was introduced as the next ruler or anything like that, but during the three months in the demon world she has visited and befriended more than half of demon tribes.

Alex looked at Chitose and asked, "Hey Chitose, do you know a good daycare around here?"

Chitose blinks and stared at Alex, a little shock by that question, "Um, well, in Yaya and Sagiri's school, there is a daycare and even a babysitter club that took care of the little kids."

Alex raised an eyebrow, finding that a little familiar but didn't dwell on it much and looked at Yaya who was busy eating her ice cream.

"Yaya?"

"Hm?" Yaya looked up from her ice cream to Alex and tilted her head. She wasn't really listening to their conversation just now.

Alex smiled wryly, "I want to ask about the babysitter club in your school. Can I take Alice there?"

"Hmm." Yaya thought about it for a moment before shaking her head, "Yaya doesn't think so. The babysitter is only for the students and staff of the school that doesn't have anyone to take care of the toddlers."

"So I need to work there or something?" Alex scratched the back of his head, "Well, I guess that's out."

"No, its good. Just work there." Emi smirked. Its a good chance to finally make Alex go out of the Inn.

"No way," Alex frowned, "Why should I? I'm sure there are many daycare centers here in Tokyo aside from Yaya's school."

"Yes, but you see, you will have to leave Alice there, alone, but if you work in Yaya's school then you can visit her as much as you like."

Alex growled, "I know what you're doing and I'm telling you.....its working. But I still don't want to work, its to troublesome. Let's talk about this later."

Emi just rolled her eyes before sending him a smirk.
