Trouble on the way

Jin Zhi was in his room preparing to head out to the Yun Hai sect and after making his preparations he began to cultivate on top of his bed.

"It's been a while since I felt so good. I got to relieve some stress on Jin Bao; tonight he will die thanks to the imprint I left on him." Jin Zhi thought as a devilish smile resurfaced on his face.

In a room, an old man sat wailing as his arms rested beside a young boy who had blood pouring from all of his body. That boy was Jin Bao.

"I swear to the gods you will die Jin Zhi!" Elder Hui swore as he stared at the lifeless body of Jin Bao.

The sun slowly raised with beams of lights shining through the window, "Jin Zhi I am here to escort you." The familiar voice of instructor Zhu called.

Jin Zhi opened the door and then replied, "I see they sent you huh."

"Yes." was Instructor Zhu's response.

"Shall we get going then?" Jin Zhi asked as he began to walk off.

Instructor Zhu followed behind as they arrived at the stables where two horses had been set aside for them both.

"Jin Zhi I believe this is your first time riding a horse?" asked Instructor Zhu.

"It is." was Jin Zhi's response but in contrast to his statement, he calmly hopped on the horse and instantly calmed it down.

"This boy has many mysteries." Instructor Zhu thought releasing a sigh.

"Will the others not join us?" Jin Zhi asked curiously.

"It was deemed better if they came later and it seems I forgot to tell you. Jin Bao has passed away." Instructor Zhu said as his face turned to the ground as although he knew Jin Bao was an unlawful child who was arrogant, he was still one of his best students.

"I see." was Jin Zhi's cold-hearted answer.

They then set out and 30 minutes had passed as they were now riding in the green woods where only the birds chirping could be heard, it was peaceful, too peaceful.

"Shink."

"Boom!"

A flying knife headed to Jin Zhi as he blocked it with ease using his Qi as a shield. This surprised Instructor Zhu as he had barely seen the knife the moment it was just before Jin Zhi but it seemed as if Jin Zhi had already noticed it as soon as it was thrown.

"Show yourself." Jin Zhi called looking toward the direction the knife came from.

"Hehe~ you could stop that surprising." Was a man wearing a fully black robe and facemask with bright green snake-like eyes joined by two other people who were the same but they both had skeleton masks on.

"Who are you?!" Shouted Instructor Zhu.

"A deadman does not need to know." Was the man's response as he nodded to both of his subordinates as they split up and rushed towards Jin Zhi and instructor Zhu.

"Don't think you can get past me!" Instructor Zhu roared as he released his martial spirit which was a large azure blue sword as he jumped off the horse drawing his sword.

Then as he did the two skeleton masked assassins jumped towards his releasing their own martial spirits which just so happened to be a red python. While the third assassin with green eyes was a bright green cobra.

"Kill him and I will finish off the target." The man called as he lunged towards me but as came closer his instincts roared to dodge. As he did he saw a large air blade slice towards the directs he was at which broke 4 trees behind him.

"W-what?!" He thought as he turned to see Jin Zhi whose sword was only slightly out of his sheath.

"Oh~ you dodged that." Jin Zhi laughed as once again that spine-chilling devilish smile appeared on his face but this time his calm eyes turned crazed and had a dark red color to them like blood and made him look insane.

"There's no way the kid did that? right?!" The man thought to himself. He then turned to see instructor Zhu barely keeping his own against his two subordinates.

He then rushed once again to Jin Zhi but the next thing that happened was him seeing his own body before it slowly broke down into small pieces of mince.

"Oh~ how great this feeling is!" Jin Zhi with his red eyes becoming slightly brighter as he licks the blood on the side of his lip that had splattered on him.

"Master!" The two subordinates shout as they noticed this.

Instructor Zhu took this chance and killed the two assassins before they knew what happened their heads had hit the floor.

"Jin Zhi did you do that?" asked Instructor Zhu with a shocked look knowing he himself could not have beat the assassin if he was against him.

"Instructor Zhu, you have been good to me but It's a shame you have to go this way." Jin Zhi said with a cold voice devoid of emotion as he looked towards instructor Zhu.

"Jin Zhi what do you mean?" Instructor Zhu asked with a worried tone.

"I thought I made it clear. Cough. You must die." Jin Zhi replied with a stoic expression barely containing his one devilish smile.

"Don't think I will be so easy Jin Zhi!" Instructor Zhu said as he rushed towards Jin Zhi.

Then suddenly he stopped and his face turned gloomy with imminent death before him Jin Zhi had released his actual cultivation level completely suppressing Instructor Zhu making him unable to move and was not crushed with his face against the dirt floor.

"I think I will take my sweeet~ time with you." Jin Zhi suddenly said as his devilish smile appeared again.

"N-no way you have multiple identity disorder!" Instructor Zhu said in horror seeing his expression change in a blink of an eye linking it with what happened at the arena yesterday too.

What instructor Zhu said was correct Jin Zhi suffers from multiple personality disorder (MPD). Jin Zhi suffers from it because his cultivation method contradicts one another one being the path of the devil and the other of a god. Then his martial spirits also contain both these paths in which created two separate personalities for each path and anything bad Jin Zhi does bring out his demonic side, along with triggers such as blood or murderous intent.

His god side is his regular calm and collected side which does not kill but only disarms the opponent and that is why when Jin Cheng showed murderous intent Jin Zhi changed. However, his third martial spirit the time sword has created a middle personality in which embraces both sides and is what happens when Jin Zhi has both personalities present at a moment such as when the patriarch asked him to stop. Although twin martial spirits doesn't cause MPD, Jin Zhi's cultivation method caused his martial paths to be engraved into each martial spirit that linked to that martial path.

"Ding! Ding! You got it right. Well, any last words?" Jin Zhi asked as his expression once again turned normal.

"You truly are a devil." Instructor Zhu said as he closed his eye.

Jin Zhi then slowly tuned back to having a cold, spine crawling, devilish smile as he tortured Instructor Zhu receiving many screams of agony.....

A/N: I originally wasn't going to do this idea but then again I thought it would be fun to do and continue in later chapters so that he doesn't just kill indiscriminately.
