Her eyes opened up to a beautiful sky staring back at her. The patches of clouds floating in the sky made her appreciate the scene more. She felt perfectly warm lying in the grass and looking up, listening to the wind swaying by her.
Heaven. She thought. Am I in heaven? Soon after that thought another came to her mind. Who am I?
Confused, she sat up and looked around only to see the plain grass ground extending to miles in front her. The calmness and warmth that she was feeling slowly started to fade away. She was panicking now. Her memories were blank, there was nothing she could remember. She immediately stood up, she turned around over and over again but all she could see was plain grass grounds.
"Hello!" She screamed on the top of her lungs but was answered with silence. She screamed again and then again and again but never got a response.
Feeling helpless she sat back down on the grass, still confused trying to remember who she was and where exactly she was? Just then she heard a distant soft humming, she didn't know why but the humming sounded familiar. She stood up and started following the voice. The sound was soft, calming and in lighter tones. She kept on walking with nothing in sight but the plain grass grounds, then as she covered more distance she could see a forest. She didn't halt but instead kept walking, it was like she was almost hypnotised by the sound. She made her way past the huge trees, oddly there was no sound in the forest, it was quiet except for the sound of her steps. She finally reached a lake, with a barely standing dock made out of wooden planks, at the end she saw a woman sitting with her feet hanging above the lake. She was wearing a white dress, her blonde hair fell over her back as she seemed calm humming softly looking at the sky.
Fiona stepped towards her and the woman stopped humming, she turned backwards to see who it was, she had the same honey like ambers in her eyes as Fiona.
"Fiona?" The woman said, standing up looking at her.
Now things were becoming much clearer to her. She recognised the woman and her heart started to beat faster as tears fled out of her eyes, "Mom?" She said stepping forward but the woman stopped her.
"Fiona, stay where you are, you can't come here."
"But why?"
"Sweetheart, you can't. It's not your time yet." She says looking around as if for someone. "Where's Lucifer?" She asked her.
"What?"
"Fiona, you can't leave Lucifer." There was a warning in her tone. "You have to get back to him. He's the only one who can save you."
"Why?" Fiona asked with tears in her eyes.
"Because I left you to him. Because he was the only one who can protect you."
"He's the devil." Fiona said and the concern glistened in her mother's eyes.
"That he is but he's not there to hurt y-" A splash from behind her interrupted her.
Fiona looked at the water and it was turning black slowly with something slowly swimming around.
"I don't have time, sweetheart." She says with fear reflecting in her honey-like eyes. "You have to stay with Lucifer. You have to have him by your side no matter what, Fiona." She looked behind Fiona, her eyes locked with someone. "Keep our promise." She said to the person and Fiona turned to see Lucifer standing behind her. His eyes were beaming red and in the darkness they glowed even better.
"I will." Lucifer said stepping towards Fiona, he held his hand towards her. "Come on, Angel, it's time to go home." Lucifer said and she shook her head stepping backward in fear she almost stepped on the wooden dock but Lucifer was fast, he reached out to her and pulled her closer to him, wrapping his arm around her pulling her into his chest firmly." It's okay, angel."
Fiona heard the sound of something hitting the wooden which was then followed by the screams of her mother.
Her eyes opened as she coughed water out of her throat, leaving a burning sensation behind. The sand particles stuck to her wet skin as she turned to the side to cough more water out. She saw Lucifer looking down at her with his glowing red orbs, a concerned look plastered on his face. His hair was wet, flattened against his head as water droplets rested on his lashes, glowing red due to his eyes. "You're okay, angel." He said, caressing her face as she breathed out, closing her eyes.

Lucifer entered through the villa gates holding an unconscious Fiona in his arms. Anger was burning in his eyes as he summoned out the name 'Xulam', a demon in the body of a teenager appeared. His skin was as pale as if there was no blood running in his veins. The dark crescents under his eyes were so prominent against his skin. His lips were stitched closed.
Xulam was the only demon who belonged to Lucifer's lineage. He was half human and half demon and was rewarded by Lucifer with a demonic essence as a way of gratitude for becoming his first ever human follower.
"Take her." Lucifer said, handing Fiona over to him. "Change her clothes and make sure she stays warm." He said as Xulam bowed his head and took Fiona further into the villa. "Xanton!" His voice growled through the air. It was so loud that it dusturbed the birds nesting in the nearby trees as they left their nests to fly away out of fear.
"Hey… boss." Xanton said in an awkward low voice from behind as he turned to her with fire in his eyes. The blood in his veins started to boil up and his hands started to swell up slowly. "Lucifer, you're going to kill Yaseen." She says stepping away from him in fear.
Normally, Xanton would've barked back at him or made a sarcastic remark mocking him but she knew better than to mess with an angry devil and especially when it was Lucifer.
"Lucifer, I can explain-" Before she could say anything he moved forward and held her by her neck holding her up against the nearby wall.
Xanton may be a demon but she was still trapped in a human body which made her vulnerable to physical pain that meant if the human body died she would also feel the pain of death. That was something she had
She tried to hold his hand but due to the lack of oxygen in her blood she couldn't have her arms move much higher. Consciousness was slowly slipping away from her choking on her own saliva, tears formed in her eyes as she tried to cry out but her voice box was ruptured because of the force he was applying.
He finally lets go of her, making her fall on the ground twisting her right ankle. She coughed blood out as the air filled her lungs and she was able to feel her body once.
"This is your only warning, Xanton. If something happens to that girl before I can have her sign the contract, it will be way worse than what Alciel can do to you."
Saying that he walked out of the villa leaving her on the floor. She leaned against the wall and calmed her breathing slowly. She was still coughing blood out, blotches of thick crimson fluid fell flat on the floor. Her throat felt like someone had pinched a thousand swords in it which were cutting it.
"Jeez Louise." She heard Azrael's voice as she looked up at him, leaning against one of the pillars holding the balcony on the first floor. He had taken up his usual human form now with his shiny raven hair falling low below his knees. His features were sharp with his dark abyss colored eyes, he was dressed in his duty uniform, a black robe similar to a male Japanese kimono, his well built chest was peeking out. A huge hood was falling behind. A scythe was floating mid air near him.
"Your boss is a grumpy cat, isn't he? " He said as he walked towards her. He sat next to her on the floor and softly caressed her back. "Ah, love, how many times I've asked you to leave him and come work for me. You can lead your very own army of reapers beside me." He smiled and Xanton in a moment of anger and taking advantage of him being off guard held his hair from behind smashed his face right on the marble floor with a cracking sound, Azrael groaned in pain touching his nose he realized it was broken. "Gosh, I was just being nice." He said crawling away from her and she held up her middle finger to him.
He rolled his eyes and disappeared in thin air with a few black ashes slowly falling to the ground.
Xanton dipped her fingers in the blood splatter on the floor. As she drew a summoning symbol with a star in the middle and wrote something in demonic language around it in. She put her hands on either side of it and closed her eyes. A ringing buzzed in her ears and then it stopped as a hand reached her face and held her by the chin making her look up, her eyes met a young guy in his early twenties. He had silver hair pulled back in a ponytail.
"Oh dear." He said as his blue eyes glistened with concern and he sat in front of her, holding her he leaned in and kissed her bloodied mouth sucking her in. He lets go of her body as it falls limp on the floor completely lifeless.
"You pissed Lucifer again, didn't you, sis?" He said as he closed the eyes of the dead body.
'Shut up, Xaphan.' He heard her voice in his mind. 'Find me another human body or I'm kicking you out of this one and taking over.'
"Oh dear, Satan. I literally teleport here because you summoned me. You do know how weak it makes the human body to teleport all the way from one corner of earth to another. And you're not even grateful."
Xanton simply scoffed. 'That's why I'm saying this. This body is not capable of holding two demons in it.'
Xaphan let out a little annoyed sigh." Call your boyfriend. He'll know where a human is dying right now, given he's the Grim Reaper."
'He's not my boyfriend and he's the reason I'm in this situation.'
"He's always the reason you get stuck in such situations." He said, closing his eyes. "Okay, now, Aidan, try not to fall apart." He said to the human shell he was inhabiting and with that he disappeared leaving dust behind.
