Unventable anger

The higher ups of the black bird sect were both impressed and angered by the way it turned out. the reason for this was how callous nick treated his enemies since such an attitude was looked upon highly in the sect , they were angered however that such an attitude was used against members of the sect despite making them hypocrites. what irritated the higher ups even more was that they had no way of figuring out who nick was since the crippled disciple told them of nick disguise skill. this meant that the sect had no valid way to seek nick out since even when he took on his true form it might have just been another fake appearance. the higher ups of the black bird sect had no choice but to swallow their anger for now. it was only a week later when all of the powers searching for millea and azdra learned that they seem to have vanished from the sheng clans world , meaning someone smuggled them out. this sent the powers into an uproar as they all began to question each other as to who did it but they all were confused when no one came forward to brag about it.

Nick didn't care at all about any of this as he came back to the celestial wind sect and reported his mission complete while saying that the group had simply found an inheritance. this was technically true since it was nicks inheritance that millea used to reach the ascendant tier. once done with the formalities nick took the teleporter back to his home at the top of the mountain. when he checked the security system he set up he was not surprised to learn that elder li had shown up at his home while he had coincidentally been away. the expression shown on her face from the video recording proved she had come to snatch away sarina as her expression changed to confusion shortly after she arrived followed by her expression switching to irritation likely when she realized nick took sarina with him.
