Leaving the world

As seen in nicks status he had only managed to reach seventeen percent spiritual impurity removal placing him firmly in the ascendant noble tier. nick had also broken through in his body refinement twice and his soul refinement once which brought a large increase in his ability to understand law. nick had already mastered all of the world level laws that he knew so the only thing he could continue to improve was his skills and techniques which he did for a few levels before he he felt for the first time a bottleneck of sorts. it wasn't a traditional bottleneck in that the heavens were trying to stop his rise , no this bottleneck was because the world itself could barely support small increases of his strength at a time. this meant that if nick wanted to continue improving he had no choice but to leave this world. this had its own problems however as he knew that the moment he tries to leave old man subhuti would definitely try to stop him since he had the greatest chance of reaching ascendant lord and raising the strength of the entire world by a good chunk in the near future.

While it is true that nick reaching that tier would raise the strength of the world it still wouldn't bring the world into a high tier world until someone else also reached ascendant lord. in the end nick decided that he would leave regardless of how subhuti begged him to stay simply because the fact of the matter is that nick was unwilling to delay his progress for the benefit of someone else. after confirming that he was definitely going to leave nick then wondered about those he would take with him when he went obviously azdra and tyrion would go with him but he was unsure if jakob and millea would come as well. in fact nick wasn't even sure that millea could come with him even if she was willing since she was the goddess of darkness for this world. nick asked jakob and millea about it in the following days and while jakob agreed to go so long as he could tell his family millea broke the news that while she could go with him if she did she would lose all of her power as a goddess leaving only her talent and the little strength she got from her own body refinement process that nick put her through.

Nick told her that the choice was hers but that he would support her fully if she came with him and even offered to teach her his body refinement technique if she did so. it would be a lie to say that nick had grown quite attached to millea in the past few years as they had even taken a step forward and started officially dating as well as other things not suitable for children.
