Preparation
The next morning dawned bright and early, with the sun casting long, golden rays across the castle grounds. I woke up to find Seraphine still asleep beside me, her face peaceful and serene. I took a moment to watch her, feeling a sense of calm and contentment.
But the reality of our mission soon crept back into my thoughts. We had a long day of preparations ahead of us before we could confront the self-proclaimed demon king.
Gently, I nudged Seraphine awake. "Hey, sleepyhead," I whispered, "time to get up. We've got a lot to do today."
She stirred, blinking sleepily before giving me a lazy smile. "Morning," she mumbled, stretching her arms above her head. "What's on the agenda?"
I sat up, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. "Well, first we need to meet with Lydia and Aurelia to discuss our plan. Then we need to gather supplies, check our weapons, and make sure everything is in order for tomorrow."
