Helios was still focused on absorbing the darkness when the cave shook and a crease appeared between his brows. After a few seconds, it disappeared as if it was never there.  The sound of gunfire brought it back, and he opened his eyes. They had no iris or pupils, and everything was black without a single colour. 

"How irritating," he uttered and snapped his fingers. The walls at the entrance of the cave moved and joined together, leaving no opening anywhere, and the noise was greatly reduced. Then, he returned to what he was doing. It wouldn't be long until he was done.

Meanwhile, the hunters were overwhelmed. They had tried talking to it, but it never spoke back. Right now, they were only stalling for time until reinforcement arrived 

"Commander, we have lost one, and the weather is getting worse," someone called out to their leader, and he sighed helplessly.
