Chapter 37: war against the devil.

Tian rode his giant Mammut back to the human border, with Lingyi and Bao'er beside him. The sight of the massive beast caused every human soldier to stop and stare in horror, they quickly sound the horn and prepare for battle.

The three human generals are seen in the fortress sky as the enormous elephant approaches their territory. As the elephant neared the stronghold, however, they noticed Tian in a majestic posture on top of the elephant.

They became speechless, while one of them quickly ordered the army to stop their attack, saying that it was the Imperial general that was coming.

"What in the world is that creature?" One soldier exclaimed.

" It looks like an elephant, but ten times bigger!" Another soldier marveled.

" have read a book about an elephant like this that exist deep in the core area of the beast region, and it is said that this creatures is the first general of the beast race", one of the general explained.

Tian dismounted from the elephant, he walked toward the formation which open immediately he got closer, so he walked in with his two maid walking beside him.

the soldier, looked at Tian with an expression of worship cause, cause many hours ago all the beast attacking their border suddenly stop and returned back to the beast region, which make most of the soldier guess that it is Tian handwork.

And now seeing him come back on the back of the beast region first general back, this confirmed there guess that Tian has tamed the whole beast region.

the three generals quickly approached Tian, " we pay our respects to the imperial general". They greeted.

He accepted their gesture before they all walked into the main hall of the fortress.

When he got inside, his shadow demon greeted him before he walked to sit in the main seat while the maid stood on each side of him.

"Now that the beast situation is solved, its time to deal with the devil race, and i hope you are all prepared?" Tian asked the generals.

" young master, we are prepared, but according to your plan we are annihilating the whole devil race not Putting them in place, even if we gather the whole soldier we won't be able to outnumber the devil race". General Li stated her concern, while the others nodded their head in approval.

"You all worry too much, but since I don't have much Time to spend on this ,we have to win this battle as quickly as we can". Tian said.

"young master, how do you suggest we win that?" General Jin asked.

"firstly i need you all to trust me with your life, can you do that ?" Tian asked.

the three general went silent, it's a hard choice for them to just trust their life on someone they barely knows, they became lost in thought. Tian did not bothered them as he can understand their situation and he is not the type of person that force people to do what they did not desire.

But after two minute, the general look at each other before their face became firm, for the human race to survive they are willing to sacrifice even their life." Young master, we are willing to trust you, even at the stake of our life".

"Good, and I won't disappoint you all, now I needed you all to go out there and prepare 10,000 men, i mean the best of the best among the soldiers, i will be leading this soldier along with you guys to remove the devil race from the face of this world". Tian said with a firm tone and air of confidence.

The general gasped, as they realized the enormity of the task.

But Tian was confident, he continued, " we'll start by eliminating every devil around the human border. Then, we'll head to the devil region, and we will march straight into their territory head-on".

the generals exchange nervous glances but then looked back at Tian who now has a devilish smile on his face, inspired by his guts, the general face became firmed.

"we'll follow you, young master" they said looking resolute.

Tian dispatch the general to go make preparations, as they will begin their marching in five hours.

Tian was left alone with his maid in the hall, he called all his shadows demon out.

"Maria, how is the preparation for Bao'er cultivation going?" He asked.

"My lord, I already assigned some of my awaken troops to prepare it so we will be done before you finish dealing with the devils". She replied with her cute and sweet tone.

"ohhh, you've all awaken some of your troops?"

"Yes master, we each manage to awaken, ten shadow each from our group, but they are still weak and haven't gone through the first evolution". Arthur replied.

Tian nodded thoughtfully, as if considering his words. " well then if we gather all the souls in the coming war, will it be enough for the awaken shadow to undergo there first evolution?" He asked.

"definitely my lord, I already scout the devil race region and I'm sure they will be enough". Selene replied to Tian question.

" Good job, well then every shadow will be participating in the coming war to reduce the human race casualties, while the rest of you will be making sure no human soldier die, also i want to use this war to observe the capabilities of the shadows".

"We will not disappoint the Lord", the shadow demons replied in unison before they all disappeared.

Tian walked out of the hall, and in front of him stood, the three generals and 10,000 soldier with firm determination to fight to death.

with a renewed spirit, Tian lead the soldier of 10,000 to Eliminate the devils around the human border. The devils around the borders are low level devil so with Tian presence it only took them five hours to clear them all.

Then Tian led his soldiers head-on into the devil region, they used a huge array transportation prepared by Lucien since he comprehended the space concept.

Charging straight ahead. As soon as they crossed the devil race border. They were greeted with the sight of a desolate wasteland.

The devil region was a barren terrain, filled with treacherous mountains and deep ravines that seemed to lead a place of utter desolation. It was inhabited by devils, creatures with twisted appearances and savage bloodline. They had features such as red pupil, sharp teeth, and fierce eyes.

"Charge forward", Tian order while he was still laying on both maid laps on the elephant.

The generals, 10,000 soldiers, and Tian Shadow soldier charged forward, killing the devils. While Maria and her troops healed any injured soldiers, she also helped them regain their exhausted energy.

As a result, the 10,000 warriors and generals advance and use their energies as they like. The Tian Shadows, on the other hand, transformed into reapers and easily dispatched the demons; furthermore, their purpose of existence is battled and killing.

They started going deeper into the devil region, battling and killing their way deep inside. As for Tian he was still enjoying himself on the elephant while the beast itself trample every devils that come closer.

When they go to the middle of the demon realm, they come across a different kind of devil; these are flying devils. Tian wasn't startled since he already knew that there were three types of devils in this world: low-level devils, whom they have been eliminating since the beginning, flying devils, and imperial bloodlines, which are living deep within this demon region.

The flying devil creature were a terrifying sight to behold, they have large wings that spanned the length of two men and a body that seemed to be carved from obsidian stone. Their eyes glowed with an unholy light , and there fangs gleamed with a sickly green hue. The are too much flying in the sky, there talons, razor shaped and capable of rending flesh in a single blow.

Tian saw that they were outnumbered, but he knew that he had to let the human fight to glory, he can't take action into hand or else this war will end before its even started.

He thus instructs Darka and Reaper to cut off each devil's wings so that they may all stand on the ground. Within five minutes, Darka and Reaper had severed the millions of flying demons' wings. It was simple since all of the demons only have saint realm cultivation bases, but some of them have king realm bases. However, for Darka and Reaper, it makes no difference.

The 10,000 soldier and generals with Tian shadow soldiers immediately increased there pace of killing, they fought hard, and the battle was intense, but they pressed on. Tian's power and charisma seemed to inspire this thousand of soldiers, so they fought with an almost supernatural strength and resilience.

The devil's region trembled, the air became chaotic, and death energy filled the whole region. As the battle raged on, the space cracked, and the wasteland was now becoming a land of death. Mountains of devil corpses were pillaged, and Tian armies charged forward with absolute momentum. They charged head-on with only one thing in mind: victory.
