Chapter 22: the battle [1]

After spending 10 month in the soul world, which is equivalent to a month in the outside world, Tian was sitting on a tree in a forest miles away from the Weng clan he noticed the bustling Weng territory ahead of him. Soldiers were preparing for battle, some of whom were patrolling the area while others were on the city walls watching the forest for the approaching enemy.

Without making a sound, Tian quietly dropped to the ground. During the 10 months he spent in his spirit realm, he trained and read. He engaged in combat with Marcus to hone his spear abilities, Buck to hone his physical prowess, Arthur to obtain additional war experience, and Maria to treat any physical injuries.

So Tian was not who he used to be a month ago.

Before beginning to exit the forest, Tian took a moment to study the environment since it would provide a nice background for a massive killing. The sky was black and the moon was bleeding red, as it usually was in this sophisticated planet.

Tian was a meter away from exiting the forest when Selene appear in front of him, while she was on her knee.

My lord i brought the report.

Tian paused before turning to face Selene, his hand folding behind his back, his long white hair flying on its own, his long robe exposing a portion of his chest, his golden-violet eye, and his bare feet giving him a really diabolical appearance.

A smile appear on his face before he reply to Selene.

My Lord, you underestimate the size of the force assembled to battle you. It appears that the Weng clan and the Shui clan consider you to be a strong foe since they are able to get other inferior clans to join them in killing you.

Tian started to make his way out of the woods. The Weng clan's army and general are stationed outside the Weng clan territory since there was a large area of land between the forest and its domain; the ground there is black in color and large enough to serve as a battlefield.

With each steps Tian was covering a great distance, until he appeared a miles away from the territory.

I'm here, Weng and Shui clan, so either hand over those two bastard heads or prepare to cease to exist.

Tian voice resound throughout the territory of the Weng clan.

Then the sound of a war horn resounds across the land, and all the soldiers rush to their positions. Millions of soldiers gather in front of the Weng clan gate, while thousands of them prepared with arrows gather on the tall, massive walls around the clan.

each soldier has the cultivation base of saint realm ranging from early to peak while there generals each has peak realm king stage cultivation base.

Tian realize there numbers and cultivation when he released his soul sense to scan them.

A devilish smile appear on his face, before speaking out loud again in an arrogant and unfazed tone.

Suddenly Weng huateng, Shui yan, with two other men appeared floating in the sky.

Tian raised his head, but he disregarded Huateng and Yan, focusing instead on the other two. One of them was bald, and he has a sturdy body with golden runes all over it. He is neither tall nor short; he is a medium-sized man with a solid build. He is the demon lord of Babarian. The last one was a person dressed in a Daoist robe and carrying a sword on his back. He had long black hair and appeared as young as a man in his twenties despite his age.

Ohhh, it seems like you've brought some friends, but I wonder why those old fogeys are not willing to show up yet. Hold on. Don't tell me I have to beat the dog before its master shows up.

Tian said to them in a sarcastic tone while his eyes was peering deep into the Weng territory.

"presumptuous" Huateng yell at Tian while his aura was release directly on Tian.

Tian smile before looking into his eyes.

ohhh, you think I'm arrogant, well of course i can be arrogant since i have the power to do so, and even if I'm arrogant what can a whimp like you do about it?

Tian mocked him.

Huateng why are you wasting time discussing nonsense with him?

The human expert with a sword behind him said to Huateng.

Sigh…. [ he wave his hand at huateng] general Ying lead the army and destroy the enemies.

A big man rode to the front of the million warriors on a black tiger with a red stripe. He was dressed in black armor and carried a massive broadsword on his back. He had a massive scar on his left eye and the cultivation foundation of the early stage emperor realm thus his fighting intent is the greatest.

he greeted the human expert first before facing Tian who was standing calmly miles away from him.

he remove the sword on his back before pointing it at Tian.

Tian reply with a devilish smile while his eye shone brightly.

General Ying ordered.

archers ready….. and all the archers soldier on the wall draw there arrow, while transferring a huge amount of energy into the arrow which make it more deathly.

Thousand of arrows with different elements was released on Tian.

but Tian only spread his arm to embrace all of this arrows, without using any energy as a shield or to reinforce his body, he welcome each arrow with his body.

clang,clang.

The moment each arrow hit Tian body, the sounds of metals colliding resound through out the region, and everyone could see that Tian remain unscathed, in fact there was no scratch on his skins, all the arrows that manage to land on his body bounce back.

General Ying exclaimed in surprise { what a strong body} but he regain his calm and keep his moral high to motivate his army but in his mind he raised the level of Tian threat to another level before initiating the attack.

prepare your formation and charge forward, attack the enemy.

ATTACK!!!! ATTACK!!!!!

millions of soldiers lead by each general was charging to meet Tian head-on.

seeing this a smile appear on Tian face, before he start stretching his body which make a crackling sounds.

Darka, make sure you collect every souls, I don't want my resources to go to waste, as for the death qi and blood essence y'all can absorb them as you see fit.

he gave his order before he charge forward to meet the millions of soldier head-on.

Nova Annihillation Fist.

A huge rainbow fist, covered in Nova fire smashed into the mist of the soldier.

a loud explosion rang out like when a nuclear bomb was released, thousands of soldier turned to ash immediately without any opportunity to scream.

When the smoke cleared, it was possible to see Tian standing in the center of the soldiers that were surrounding him. Suddenly, many attacks came from all directions, but Tian was faster and kept moving from one location to another, shattering tens of soldiers with each stride he made.

No soldier could endure more than a strike or a kick from him because he was fighting unarmed. Tian was fighting with all of his body, not holding back at all. He even employed headbutts and occasionally utilized the "Nova Annihilation Fist," but overall, Tian never stopped grinning. Despite occasional strikes landing on his body, there was never even a scratch since no soldier in this area was able to inflict a harm on him. Even if thousands of them joined forces, their combined attack could only manage to move Tian back a few paces. A thin scratch line will also emerge on his skin, but everything heals up right away.
