Trapped Inside

Chapter 35

Natsumi thought to herself after hearing that from him [Why would he want to become a girl? Do you think everyone wants to become a girl like you?] He didn't read her my mind this time.

He continues his reply to her by asking like this :"Do you want me to turn into a woman?"

Natsumi was standing while holding into the fence that was in the veranda with both of her. She replies to him (Light) negatively with a unamused face like this :"No. You are fine the way you are now."

Light was disappointed on her after hearing that from her. He really wanted to turn into a woman in front of her and made her shower him with praises. He asks her like this :"So what you want to do now?"

Some questions aroused in her mind when he (Light) told her about what Ban couldn't do. So Natsumi didn't reply to his questions. She asks him (Light) like this :"Before I tell you what I want to do, I want to ask you some questions."

Light replies to her with a long nose in his face like this :"You can ask me whatever you want to ask from me." After he that said that to her he also thought to himself [After I will answer your question don't forget to praise me.]

Natsumi asks him (Light) the questions that she wanted to ask like this :"Why he can't find or search the people who got lost inside of a gate? What's the reason for it?"

Light was surprised by question. He thought to himself [I thought you would ask me why he can't turn into a woman. But I guess you forget about that because of the aftereffects of remembering the memory of the void. Don't worry I will answer that question too.] He replies to her question like this :"He is my substitute but he can't fully do all my job. There are more than billions universes I created. And I alone created all of them. He only govern and rule one of the universe. He can only five or six universes at once with his full power."

Natsumi was very surprised by his reply. She thought that there are only hundreds or thousands of world or universes in the world. She was really surprised when she heard that there are more than billions of universes and that Ban can only control five or six universes with his full power at once. She asks him (Light) like this :"Only five or six! Wasn't he supposed to be your substitute?"

Light continues his reply to her questions like this :"Even though he maybe my substitute he is only a substitute for only one world. He isn't powerful enough to create and govern all of those universes. The universe or the world that he govern is the world you live in. And the reason why he can't search for the people who got lost inside of the gate it's because they agrees with going alone in that gate and that no one can search for them until they find there distension."

Another question aroused I her mind when he (Light) replied to her. She asks him (Light) like this :"What do mean by agrees?"

Light creates a chair on the veranda and he sits down on the chair. He crosses both of his arms over his chest. He replies to her question like this :"After you or any people who died agreed on being reborn in any of the world you humans want. I would have asked you the same question if you wanted to get reborn in another world or your world. There is one thing you need to agree beforehand. And that's that no one can search for you if you get lost inside of the gate. And also Ban can't turn into a woman cause I didn't give him the power and the permission and the authority and the choice of being a woman or turning into one."

Natsumi thought to herself [Who cares about him not turning into a woman] She also gets madly angry at him after hearing that reply from him (Light). She gets angry at him because of the thing that the people who got lost inside of the gates. She downcast her eyes and she replies to him (Light) like this :"Because of you. Because of you." She looks at him with angry expression and continues her reply to him with a angry voice like this :"All these people got lost inside of the gates and never find themselves reborn in the world they wanted to reborn."

Ban was startled by her voice. He stands up from the bed and starts walking towards the veranda. Light didn't apologize to her neither did he had any remorse in his face. He replies to her like this :"You wouldn't have said that to me."

Ban enters the veranda and asks them about that like this :"Why Natsumi was angry a second ago."

Light looks at him with bored expression on his face. He replies to him (Ban) like this :"She is angry. At me though" he continues his reply to him (Ban) by asking him like this :"Tell her to stop getting angry at me. It makes me sad."

Ban thought to himself [Then at least make a face that you are remorseful for what you did.] He also asks her like this :"What did he say to make you angry?"

Natsumi replies to his (Ban) question like this :"Because he didn't give the people who got lost inside of the gate to find them if they get lost inside of it."

Ban thought Light said something funny or made her angry by saying something stupid. He was relieved after hearing that from her. He replies to her with relieved face on him like this :"Oh!That's the reason."

Natsumi wasn't happy seeing his relieved expression on his face. It made her more angry and displeased. She thought that he would understand how much she hate him. She asks him (Ban) like this :"Why are you making that relieved face? Wasn't you born more than three thousands years ago? Don't you have someone you want to meet that got lost or trapped inside one of the gate?"

Ban realizes that she wasn't happy with his expression. But rather his expression made her more angry. He tried to calm her down but he just made it worse. He looks at Light. Light looked at him with that same expression on his face. He (Ban) again looks at her and he replies to her questions like this :"Of course I am more than three thousand years old. And I also have some people who I want to meet that are forever lost and trapped inside of the gates. But everything happens for a reason. Even though it might give you some pain and depression it is still happening for a good reason. You should also know that every people that lived in earth isn't good. There are some bad people who killed, ransom, steal, rape, betray and take from other people without there permission. Most of those bad people went to hell right after their death five thousand years ago. But nowadays most of the people who was bad in there former life and did horrible and terrifying act in there life are now lost and trapped inside the gates. So now don't be angry at him for that. Even though it seems bed at first it have great reasons to continue to happen."

Natsumi understand his reasonings and understand that she should starts respecting Light instead of getting more angry at him. Though there was still one thing that was bothering her and she asked him that question but he didn't answer. She replies to him (Ban) like this :"I understand what you are trying to say. I will try to respect him instead of just hating him." She continues her reply to him (Ban) by asking him like this :"But still you didn't answer the question that I have asked you. Don't you have someone who got lost and trapped inside of the gates that you want to meet??"

Ban was taken a back. He looks at the sky and replies to her question like this ;"I have one people that got trapped inside of the gate forever. I still want to meet her." He looks at her and continues his reply to her like this :"Though it's seems like she did some horrible act that I didn't knew about. And that's why she got trapped inside of the gates. I guess that's her punishment for the thing she done." He smiles.

She was just getting angry about how because of Light millions and millions of people got trapped and forever forgotten. On the other hand someone precious of Ban got trapped inside the gate forever and he explains that it may sound like a bad and evil act at first it also have good reasons for happening. Natsumi was stunned by how he smiles at her and talks to her as if it is something not that important and it's something that he wants to forget. She didn't know how to react to that. Though she felt a bit sad and anger towards herself for letting him remember her. The girl that got trapped inside the gate.
