A man named Vitt is in for a ride of his life - literally. As he crossed the highway, the sun glinted off from the speeding cars. He made a break for it, but just then, everything unexpectedly went black. He wakes up to himself in a strange, white room, with an electronic voice booming through its speakers. Join Vitt in his quest to escape the Generator System and unravel its secrets in this thrilling fantasy for young adult readers and the like. Will Vitt escape this system, or be lost within it forever? It's my first time writing this. the length of my story is short as I'm new to this industry. English is my third language so expect bad grammar. I'm okay with any criticism. also, the cover picture is not mine. it's from Christian Vichi from Artstation. if he wants to remove it then I will remove it.

The Day I Died

The year 2022, dec X.

There was a man named Vitt who was hurrying to the birthday party of his causin.

Vitt felt the warmth of his heartbeat increasing as he anxiously stepped onto the highway. He was on his way to attend a birthday party for one of his cousins and didn't want to be late, but it seemed like an eternity before he finally reached the other side-- only seconds too slow.

Two speeding sports cars were racing towards him when suddenly everything turned into slow motion; Vitt watched in horror as they veered closer and closer until, with a loud screech of tires, they collided straight into him.

The impact sent Vitt flying backward through the air - or what felt like air at least - then everything went black...

When his eyes opened again, there was nothing around him but endless darkness. His body no longer ached from impacts nor did he feel any type of physical sensation whatsoever anymore-he had died that day crossing over to join family members celebrating a life event!

In a bustling Cebu City.

The man, who was aged about thirty-five and wearing a white shirt with jeans, had been hurrying the highway and the traffic lights were green. When suddenly two sports cars roared past him. The drivers were going so fast that they weren't able to stop in time; the front car hit him and sent his body tumbling through midair before it crashed onto the asphalt below. Gasps of horror rose from everyone watching - pedestrians on either side of the road, commuters stuck in traffic jams, or even people inside their own vehicles who happened to witness this incident - as they watched helplessly at what just unfolded right in front them. Then suddenly there came an uproar among all these bystanders: some screamed out for assistance, while others blamed both drivers involved for causing such tragedy today! One driver immediately stepped down from his vehicle, while another tried running away but was eventually brought back by several people close enough to apprehend her red Ferrari. It soon became clear that reckless driving caused yet another death here tonight — one more victim added on record ever since News7 reporter Samanta Riverei first reported outrageous road deaths due to improper speed limits three years ago...

And a passerby just said "The man had no business crossing the highway when the traffic lights were green. He should have known better than to try and beat the cars. It's a miracle that more people weren't injured or killed in the accident. The city needs to do something about these reckless drivers before somebody else gets hurt."

The party was in full swing at Lower na Timaw-an. Claire, the eldest daughter of the family, had just turned thirty, and they were celebrating with a big birthday bash. The house was filled with friends and cousins who had come to join them for this special day - there was laughter, music playing from speakers around the yard, and food being served on long tables set up outside under colorful umbrellas; it truly felt like a fiesta! Suddenly, one of their guests let out an anguished cry that silenced everyone present: "Vitt is dead!" he said as he stared at his cell phone in shock. All eyes shifted towards him as people tried to make sense of what he'd just said: Vitt…dead? It didn't seem possible - but then another guest started reading aloud from her phone news feed about how Vitt had been killed in a car accident earlier that morning…and suddenly, everything became clear. Claire's face paled when she realized who it must be – yes, tonight should've been Vitt's first time attending her birthday celebration. She took deep breaths, trying not to cry, while some others mourned openly over losing such a beloved friend so unexpectedly soon after having invited him here only days ago. Claire immediately broke down into tears, when she remembered that she was the one who invite Vitt and blame herself for this. Everyone else tried to console her. But it was no use; nothing could take away the pain she felt at losing her Causin so suddenly. Even though it seemed impossible, life went on. A few days after the funeral, Claire met with some of Vitt's family members and other friends to plan a memorial for him
