After discovering this I immediately tried to put my conscience on that world but I could only watch like a silent observer and the more I watched I slowly realized it was The shield hero world and left to go look at my system.

It took time but I finally leveled the soul tracking skill enough to be able to track my missing piece.
I waited until midnight and aged myself to 16 then put on the clothes in my inventory before following the trail to a place I found familiar even though I've never been here before.
"this place....why does it feel like I've been here before?"
I then put a hand to my head as more fragmented memories came into my head of me dragging a pink haired woman here before tying her to a tree and slowly torturing her to death before collapsing while my body evolved into a new race and after I woke up the world started collapsing.

It took me a minute to sort through these memories but after I did I ran even farther into the woods until I ran into a spatial distortion and hesitated for a second before going in only to see a spectral version of myself staring into the sky as I walked over and simply absorbed him back into myself as the memories flooded back into myself of my adventures in this world but I got another set of memories from an old forgotten timeline that ended with the complete and utter restart of that universe.
"Heh, I know what's going on now after reviewing all the memories it's all so clear to me now....this is all a time loop set into motion at the start of everything and if that is the case then that man from those dreams is me far into the future ruling over everything. existing at the same time I exist is causing reality itself to collapse causing a time loop as my powers won't allow me to die"
After that little train of thought I checked the date and calculated that in about 6 years 3 months and 2 days would be the end of everything so I had to train and evolve as much as possible before the loop restarts so that I can break it as quickly as possible.
I sighed and began walking home and halfway there I felt the ground shake as I looked up to see a rift open and suck me in as I landed in the house I bought in the sao universe and before I could realize what happened I heard a knock on the door so I naturally went to open it only to be greeted by Kirito holding the dimensional ring I sent to his home.
"Its nice to see you Kirito and I see you figured out how to activate the ring"
Kirito:" What are you?"
"it's a long story but I will give you the short version. I died in my original world and was reincarnated into a different world with a system similar to the sao user interface and as I leveled up and completed quests I earned store points and I used them to evolve into a lesser god of that world and kept doing it until I unlocked world travel as an ability and arrived here. but to answer your question I was human...heck probably still a little left in there but am now a unknown race as I can't see what it is"
Kirito:" that's a lot to take in"
"I know it is but I should explain what that ring does. it allows those who have it to go to my divine realm and in some cases bring me to the world its in and thats exactly what you did with it. Now I will let you process everything before I keep going"
<10 minutes later>
Kirito:" you can continue"
"Alright, I have an offer for you and all your friends...even if you haven't met all of them yet....anyway, I want you to help me save reality from collapsing"
Kirito:".....how would I even be able to do that"
"Well all I have to do is give you this knight piece and make you a god"
After saying that I tossed over a golden crystal knight chess piece.
"if you accept my offer then we'll continue but if you don't then it's whatever. It's not like I will disappear forever as I quite like this world as it reminds me of my original one just a bit more advanced. actually I'll give you a day to think about it"
I then walked him out the door and after he left I went to my divine realm and was very quickly tackled to the ground by koneko as I did disappear for awhile but that was my fault for being a forgetful idiot.
It took a little bit but I eventually calmed her down and after I reached my room in the palace I collapsed onto the bed as it's quite exhausting to re-absorb a soul fragment.
