Lost memory.

''Where is Mara?" Jada, the queen of the human realm barked at her son Zeme. "I don't know, I looked away for a second and she was gone," the young boy replied with his head hung low.

Jada took a long deep breath and held the young prince's shoulders. "I am sorry honey, I know how much your sister is a handful. I am sorry for shouting at you," she said softly.

They left the place with the maids and guards who were soiling themselves for losing the young princess. Meanwhile in the other side of castle grounds, a seven year old girl was tiptoing her way to her 'haven.' " Uncle? Are you here? Uncle Red?" She called out in a whisper.

Suddenly, a red mist emerged from the ground and a cloaked figure appeared. "Aren't you naughty tiny human," a deep voice said from the hood followed by a dark chuckle. " I told you to call me Mara not tiny human!" She exclaimed and pouted only to look ten times adorable.

The man looked at her for a moment. Mara was a very tiny girl for a seven year old. like really tiny no matter how much she denied it, but hey.... whatever made her go to bed happy right? She had blue ombre hair which was very beautiful and rare. This always intrigued her family and others as no one had such hair. When she was younger, there were rumors about her not being her father's daughter but she put them all to shame by looking like a splitting image of her dad.

She had pitch black eyes and long lashes. To put it into simpler terms, she was illegally beautiful and adorable. However, she was extremely naughty having scars and wounds all over her legs and hands due to her adventures.

"Did you tell your parents that you came here?" He asked. Her kingly stance she had immediately dropped and she began fidgeting. "Yes," she lied in a low voice. He chuckled. "You know that lying is wrong right? They must be worried sick about you," he said and moved closer.

His eyebrows scrunched once his hand landed on her hair and he pulled his hand away fast. This obviously went unnoticed to the tiny girl who was currently finding a way to bribe him into not telling her parents.

"Uncle please-," she started, "Don't call me uncle," he deadpanned. "Then what should I call you?" she asked and silence enveloped them. He then put his hand on her head and ruffled her hair making her glare at him. "Go to sleep sweet girl," he said and she slept.

"What are we going to do now? Do we take her with us?" another man who had materialized inside the cave asked. " Why would we do that? Don't you know the pain of being separated from your mother at such a young age Zan?" He asked him coldly.

Zan's eyes dropped after receiving such a cold glare from his master.A red mist surrounded Mara and when it cleared she was gone. The two men the also disappeared from the cave leaving it empty and forgotten.

Mara woke up with a start after she heard someone yelling out something from her bedroom door to the hallway. "She is here your majesty." Soon enough her mother, father and brother came rushing in to find a very confused Mara. "Oh my beautiful baby!" her mother exclaimed enveloping the princess who was completely confused. A couple of relieved sighs came from the room.

"What happened?" She asked. "Nothing happened honey," her father, king Levy said, "However, it is clear to see your mother is graduating rather quickly in to a grandmother," he teased to have people stifling their laughter. "Tell me honey, didn't you say you P-E-R-S-O-N-A-L-L-Y checked her room T-H-O-R-O-U-G-H-L-Y and didn't find her," he stressed teasing his wife some more.

"Tell me baby, did you feel sleepy before?" he asked the girl who was still not following. " I guess," she said making her mom check her forehead for a fever. " It's okay but next time tell someone first so that your mom cannot lose her mind looking for you, okay?" " Okay," she replied. Her father pulled them all into a family hug. The maids could only shed tears over the display of affection. They finally stood up to let the child continue sleeping.

"Oh my God, your wounds are all gone. Even the scars. Wow, I knew Mable was a good healer but I didn't know she was that good?" The queen said while leaving with her husband, son and the maids. Mara heard her mother's voice fading as she left. She lay back on the bed swearing on her life that she had forgotten something seemingly important. She tried to remember however she couldn't.

Meanwhile, in another place, two men materialized in a room. There was a large bed with four posters. There were 2 large doors that led to a balcony next to a window. On the other side, there was a large mirror and dressing mirror together with a diver. There was a door to a closet and another to a bathroom area.

Beside the window was a table with two chairs opposite each other. There was a large urn on the table with wine. Zan took two goblets and served he and his master slash friend some wine and sat down in a tired sigh.

"Kiel, what are you planning to do now?" he asked to receive no answer. He waited but it was clear he wasn't going to get an answer. He gulped down his drink and went to Kiel's bed frustrated. He fell asleep immediately. Following his friend all day around made him feel spent.

Kiel looked over at his friend knowing that he had tired out his friend so much making him feel guilty. He went over and picked up Zan over his shoulder. He rolled down the quilt and tucked his friend inside and covered him before leaving his room.
