A New Deskmate: Riva Kapoor

Riva Kapoor is a very beautiful eighteen years old young lady from a prominent and rich family. She is the youngest daughter of Kapoor family. The girl has beautiful straight black shining hair, light brown eyes, golden skin and small pouty lips. She must be 165cm in height and has a good figure.

Riva and Avi had become deskmate lately and it was their first time meeting each other. Riva had never expected that her deskmate could be this handsome like a god from heaven.

"You??" asked Riva as she pointed a finger towards Avi in daze.

"Oh!! sorry,...Hi, I am Avi your deskmate....nice to meet you." Seeing the girl in daze with questioning look he realised, he didn't Introduce himself and extend his hand for handshake while slightly lifting his lips in a warm smile.

Nice to meet you too,..I'm Riva, I just had transferred in this school a month ago." Riva shook her hand with him and made her introduction with a very sweet smile.

Noticing the scene playing before their eyes other students were so stunned that their jaw dropped to the floor, they never had thought that this freakingly handsome guy was Avi, wasn't he a champu[1]. when did he become so handsome and rich?

'Wasn't Avi a poor, introvert and timid guy and he didn't like to interact with others.' their minds were in mess right now. They can't figure out what just happened, how can a person changed this much within a short span of time?

More of that they were shocked to see Riva this aloof girl who didn't chat with anyone a single world through this whole month, now chatting and smiling politely with Avi.

Riva was very beautiful girl and many boys in campuse had approached her many times before but she rejected them without betting an eye. Her indifference made them assume that she is so arrogant. In their speculation, they thought she had a aloof and cold personality.

No one dare to annoy her because she came from very influential family background. but they were unaware of the fact that deep in down she was very cheerful and kind person around the people she liked, her personality wasn't a single percent near to their speculation.

"If you don't mind, can I ask you a something" Riva asked hesitantly, wondering if it would be ok with Avi.

"Yes!! you can ask" Avi simply replied in his soft tone.

"Why were you missing your classes for this long?" she asked, facing Avi with puzzlement.

"Will you believe if I tell you, I had been beaten up in this school by some students behind this building and was in coma for 15 day." sadness engulfed in his eyes as he asked Riva.

bewildered by his reply, Riva eyes were shoot open wide with shock. she wasn't expecting this reply, She could see the gloominess in his eyes which he tried to conceal but can't. She knew he wasn't lying.

After sometime had passed, she took a deep breath and she replied "Yes, I would believe you!!"

Jerking his neck, he looked into her eyes and was surprised, how serious she looked her eyes were shining with honesty. there wasn't any deceptiveness. she is sincere, he can see her bright eyes. She's different from other students in school.

"Thanks." Avi smile softly.

"How terrible, how can they do this to you? are they monsters!?" irritated by this fact she said. she felt pity for him.

"It's ok, I have been bullied, it's not a new thing to me." he was as calm as if they were not talking about him.

"what do mean by bullied? Are you implying that you used to be bullied" surprised by his confession, she asked.

"You hear me correct, I had been bullied because of my very weak and coward self before." Avi confirmed with a smile. the smile wasn't reaching his eyes. it looked like he'd been forced to smile

"Are you telling me a lie?, how can a person like you be bullied?" feeling confused Riva asked, while thinking 'he isn't looking like weak and coward, anyway.'

"Alright, enough of this talk let's focus on our study, the exams would going to be happened by next month and I think, we should study more instead of talking over some none important matters..." he chuckled seeing her face, It seems like she was the one who had suffered all of this instead of him.

"look, I want to know about this matter and I'm not ganna let you leave it in half " she stated seriously.

"why are being so persistent to know about this matter?" confused and bewildered by her reaction.

"I need to know.... you fool.."annoyed by his question, she confirmed.

"And why do you need to know?" raising an eyebrow, he questioned.

Hey, wait what did you just called me now" Avi asked stunned by her sudden bluntness.

"what??" She asked confused by his question

"you called me fool." frustrated by her unawareness

did I ?"

"Yes you did !!" he narrowed his slender eyes.

"I....I am... sorry, it was not my intention, it was just a.... just a slip of tongue. I don't mean to offend you " scratching her nose, she stuttered, she felt embarrassed.

"But I am offend " giving her a fake angry look, he said.

Actually in reality he didn't mind it at all and just Amused by her reaction over such a small thing. she looked like a kid who had committed a mistake and was afraid of scolding.

" I....I am really very sorry Avi but it wasn't intentional." she felt so embarrassed that her eyes almost went moist.

" Hey, it's ok.... I was just teasing you, I am not offended by your word" He bust into laughter seeing her puppy like eyes with guilt.

Seeing how embarrassed and serious she looked, he felt guilty too for teasing her but what can he do, she looked so cute that he can't stop himself for teasing her. And with just a simple teasing, she was on a verge of crying, it was really very funny. How could a person be this sensetive. but it also proves that how naive and pure hearted she is.

Riva who almost cried lifted her head to see him laughing so hard. He looked so damn handsome that her heart started beating fast and her face flushed red, she wanted to hide herself when she realised how foolishly she had reacted.

"you...you are so mean!!" hiding her face into her palms, she complained.

"Alright my bad, I'm sorry but you were looking so cute that I can't stop myself... Hahaha....still laughing Avi apologized.

"_" Riva didn't know how to retaliate. Riva was speechless upon hearing him, after all the most handsome boy of their class has just called her 'Cute'. 'Is she looking Cute' she murmured inwardly.

"Well remember don't ever call me fool, I don't like being called a fool alright....after calming down, He said with a bright smile on his.

"..." nodding her head she didn't say anything and just smiled.

"..." Rest of the students 'Is Avi just flirting with Riva.' they all thought.

Riva and Avi these two creatures in class_A were like aliens for other students. They both liked to be in their own space and were look very comfortable with each other. They both were very quite students but today something has changed, 'Why are These two chatting and laughed like old friends, weren't they just met.' the all class was confused including Sunny.
