"Alpha, I'm sorry for taking time and keeping you waiting. I had to be careful," the woman said, head lowered slightly in respect. She looked up to face the man.

"It's fine. You asked to see me so suddenly? Did something go wrong? Did they find out so soon?" the man asked, head tilted slightly as he spoke.

The woman quickly shook her head, "That's not it at all, Alpha. I got your message and thought I should give you some things I've found out," she rushed out, glancing at the wall clock ticking slowly. She had barely ten minutes left.

The man looked at her, eyebrows cocked up, "What do you have for me, Jules?" he asked.

"You wanted to know if there's something between Alpha Kieran and Katherine. I'm pretty sure they are in some sort of relationship, but I don't think they're mates," she finally let out.

"They aren't mates?" the man asked, surprise etched in his voice, the smirk falling off his face, replaced by a frown.
