Chapter 36: I don't like her

3rd Person's P.O.V

"M-mom...." Phoebe whispered as she welcome her Mother into her arms. She didn't know who Thereia was but she was sure that was her name.

Queen Stella let the guards believed that her daughter was already dead and spread false rumors that instead of a daughter, she had a son.

This is to catch Animalia's who are shameless enough to claim that they have the royal bloodline of a Ruslan.

But seeing as the Queen hugged her daughter tighly, the guards around her we're stunned. And it didn't last for a moment before they began kneeling infront of Phoebe.

"Your Highness." They all chanted in unison.

Sky and Meadow on the other hand was looking at the scene. They were both stunned and they asked themselves if this is reality. They didn't like how Phoebe was associated with the dark kingdom. They didn't like the fact that Phoebe found her birth mother cause this will cause her to be selfishly attatched to her.

And what if, Phoebe will no longer join them because of her mother?

Phoebe turned around at the room and scanned the people bowing into her. Then she gave them a small smile. And all the people suddenly rose.

The Queen then composed herself and dusted her dress as looked back at Phoebe who was staring at her mother's Beautiful figure.

Then she excused the people and lead Phoebe to a hallway.

Sky and Meadow couldn't help but follow them as soon as they were sure there was no guard in the area.

As mother-daugter pair were walking, Sky and Meadow was tailing them behind in plain sight. But because the hallways was cramped and dark. The two were almost blending in the shadow.

But they managed to eavesdrop in the conversation.

"What was the name you remember?"

"After waking up, I only remember my name as Phoebe. I was actually lost here in Ruslan and I thought my parents died. So I began going on quests to win prizes and such."

The queen put her hand in her mouth as she looked shocked.

"Honey, I'm sorry. It was your father who kidnapped you..! We were both happy living together but your father who had evil intentions decided to kidnap you! I was so worried! I didn't know that he failed to kidnap you and erased your memories!" Queen Stella explained as her trembling hands began to plaster at Phoebe's shoulders as they're walking.

"Oh, mother. It's alright. Atleast we're together now, right?" Phoebe says, in which the queen nodded.

Sky just frowned upon Queen Stella's story. She knew she was lying. The letter that she and Meadow read in the old study room was actually from King Talliarde, seeking peace after divorce. He also states that he wanted Phoebe in the first place so why would he kidnap her daughter when she's already with him? Unless..

Sky looked at Queen Stella, she was sobbing emotionally and just as she thought. She was faking it, Sky was very much experienced in acting as her skills as a spy require acting that could immediately be convincing enough to win an Oscar Award.

She's lying.

Sky looked at Meadow and just as she thought. She was also thinking of the same thing.

"Then, did you make any friends?" Queen Stella straightforwardly asked.

Phoebe nodded.

"There were Hakun, Arcane, Emerald, Leo, Meadow, Sergio, Hushy, Bluve, Sky, Chummy, Alpha, Chloe and Chippy." She naively chirped.

"Ah, that means that you're getting along well with them. Did you guy have anything in common? That's why you're attatched to them?" Her highness asked.

Phoebe looked disturbed as she looked at her front and her back but saw no one. But Sky and Meadow in the corner couldn't help but panic at what she was going to say.

"Mom, can you keep secrets?" Phoebe asked.

Sky wanted to scream 'Phoebe No!' Cause she wasn't feeling Queen Stella's vibe. Her intentions are somewhat, evil like King Talliarde's mother said.

Queen Stella nodded like a child as she curiously bobbed her head like one.

Then Phoebe motioned her mother to come close, and that is what she did.

"I don't like her." Meadow whispered to Sky. And ofcourse, Sky couldn't agree more.

Phoebe then whispered. But both of the two eavesdropping comrades can clearly hear what she said.

"They have powers too..." Phoebe then giggled like she said something funny, but she continued to put her index finger in her lips. Like her mother should keep it a secret.

Then Sky swore, that she saw a grin plastered in The Queen's lips as her eyes clearly had a glint of mischief.

But the queen quickly hid it with shock.

"No way! Really!?" She asked like mother playing along with her child but Phoebe just nodded, she knew her mom would think of her story as an absurd one but little did she know she really did believe in everything she said.

"Then, can you tell them where are they now?" Stella asked.

Sky couldn't help but wanted to shut Phoebe's mouth and sew it Close but she remained calm.

"I don't really know for now, but I know that they are heading towards Pynka to meet a detective. Because Willow told us so." Phoebe naively explained.

Phoebe believed that her mother, wouldn't do such a thing to her friends cause, she ofcourse is her mother and she believe that she wouldn't harm them so she bet that it's safe to tell her and rely on her.

"Ahahaha! That's great!" Queen Stella exclaimed which caught Phoebe off guard.

Phoebe was about to ask what was up but they soon reached a huge dining hall decorated with cakes and balloons.

Phoebe couldn't ask anything now. Her view was pointed in there as she was looking at her mother with questioning look.

Her mother then turned to her as she smiled.

"Today is your Sixteenth birthday, isn't it?" Queen Stella asked.

Phoebe couldn't help but tear up as she hugged her mother, blurting alot of thank you then after that, she sat in her chair as a bunch of servants began delivering gifts and desserts.

Sky was clearly mad. She didn't know why but she was.

"Excuse me for a minute, Thereia. Mommy's gotta make a call first okay?" Stella called out to Phoebe and Phoebe just nodded. Ofcourse, unsuspecting anything.

Meadow and Sky looked at each other.

"Dito ka lang, Meads. Bantayan mo si Phoebe. Babalik lang ako kasi susundan ko si Stella." She ordered and Meadow just followed.

Meadow just stood there blending in the shadows as she looked at Phoebe, opening her gifts.

Sky on the otherhand passed through walls as she Activated her Intagibility. She was sure was visible but you couldn't touch her. She was like a ghost as she began tailing her majesty in a small room.

Queen Stella then made a call.

"Hello? Commander Lupert? Yes. I would like for my Magicians to go to Pynka as soon as possible. Yes, infront of Detective Felasso's doorstep. Yes, the Peculiars will be there and I want them all captured this time. Right. Alright, thank you." She then ended her conversation in the telephone.

This can't be, if she is the mastermind behind all of this then. Why did he capture her and Meadow?

Sky couldn't connect the dots but she now is sure that the latter had their own reasons, and that reason is none of an importance than this.

Sky believe that his reason is too little than Queen Stella's cause Queen Stella us actually crazy enough to destroy the whole Emperia.

Wait, a minute. Is she actually going to destroy Emperia or is she going to rule Emperia? She didn't know either but it was sure that it was going to fall between those two choices. And she couldn't let that happen.

Sky believed that Her Highness Stella was about head back to Phoebe but boy was she wrong, instead of heading back to Phoebe she then again proceeded to head to another direction.

She was going on some sort of tunnel and ofcourse Sky followed behind.

Then there she was face to face with a mirror, it looks like a Magical one since Queen Stella called someone.

Then there a man who answered.

He looked like in his early late 30's. Bet he looked good with his dark purple hair. His porcelein skin also compliments his overall look as he look muscular.

His face formed a frown when he saw Stella.

"Stella? I thought you swore to have any contacts with me and Thereia?" He asked.

"I know the truth."

"--What?"

"You lied, Talliarde. Our daughter isn't with you. In fact, Thereia is with me now." She giggled. At this point she really looked like a real villain who would eat children alive right now.

"Y-you're lying..!"

"I am not."

"Hand her back to me immediately! Nothing good comes out from you!" The King has now have a scornful face.

Queen Stella couldn't help but laugh at him. How pitiful does he look, she thought.

It was fun to rule the world. Very fun indeed. And after she rules this world, with the help of the peculiar. She will get rid of everyone who dares to share of her power. And she will get everything back that She stole from her. The affection, The riches, The attention, and the Love Interest.

She then looked at Talliarde, hurtfully.

"You will be mine once again, Talliarde. Every state, every country, every dimension. I will find you. And trust me, you will come to love me once again." She then laughed maniacally.

"You're insane! I will never ever love you! So please give me back Thereia!"

"No. Thereia is the only way I could destroy everything that you have come to love. And once everything is destroyed, I will destroy her and you will be mine once again..!"

Sky shuddered at the thought that Stella was actually insanely lovesick over Talliarde. But that's not all is it? There must be more to that.

But in Stella's case, after experiencing life twice. She couldn't remain sane. Living on earth on the 12th Century with her younger sister, her younger sister grew sickly but their parents didn't mind her any attention.

She also disliked her younger sister, she was nothing but a worthless living space that would share the food that was served in their table.

Being a Marquess' daughter, she couldn't ask for more as their parents spoiled her with goods and jewelries and they even arranged her a very precious wedding with the crowned prince.

The crowned prince was her very first love, she loved him with all her heart. And there she wish nothing more for any value cannot demolish her feelings.

It was fine, everything was fine until the Crowned Prince laid his eyes on her younger sister Hestra, which ruined everything.

It was then the Prince knew about the mistreatment and abuse Hestra was getting and decided to strip Stella's Family's name in rank and he ended up with Hestra. He impregnated her wiwth his child.

Yes, it wasn't that bad but Stella was very much upset to the point that she slipped in Hestra's chambers and murdered her.

She was inlove with the smell of blood. She loved how her sister's body can no longer move again, she loved the feeling to kill someone, she loved how after this, the crowned prince might reconsider her as a fiancé. She loved how she removed the culprit who caused her several beatings in prison, she loved how she was dead.

It was then the prince ordered Stella to be beheaded.

But fortunately, she lived. Back in Emperia, she decided to take what was rightfully hers in the first place. She saw familiar faces and she decided to kill those faces, the faces who laughed at her, who betrayed her, and the face of the person who took everything from her.

And she, ofcourse decided to seduce the crowned prince who remembered nothing from their past life.

And there Thereia was born.

Thereia is the only key for her to rule this world. She would decided who to kill and who to give life. She could kill torture each and every animalia cause they are ridiculous. And she could use Thereia to kill her ridiculous sister who belongs to the slums.

"You seduced me! I know nothing about you! You know nothing about me! I don't know where you get that crazy fantasy in your head!" King Talliarde spat back.

"You will eventually, Crowned Prince Talos."

"I told you I am not Talos! You are certainly mistaken!"

"But I am not." Stella answered as she ended their conversation.

Sky couldn't understand anything that was happening but she was sure that The one they'll be able to face to fave and defeat was Queen Stella.

As Sky was about to report back to Meadow and to get their butts out of here and tell the whole group about what to do when Queen Stella called another.

"Hello?" A Young voice answered.

Sky looked at the guy, but she didn't know who he was.

Queen Stella then looked at him with pure annoyance.

"Carter."

The guy who she called Carter lowered his head as he looked down.

"Yes, Mother?"

Queen Stella Smiled at him, giving Sky the Chills.

"Be a good son, Carter and Organize the bombs here in Emperia. The war is starting."

The guy looked like he was in a panic.

"But, Mother! Chloe is still in there--"

"I know who she is, I'll keep her safe as long as you listen to me."

Carter could not protest anymore as he looked lonely.

"Alright, Mother."

Sky wasn't all in her senses. Chloe? Does he mean Like Chloe Mare Asterin? She thought.

Things are getting suspicious. Sky swiftly headed back to the Dining hall where she saw Meadow merging from the Shadows trembling. Phoebe was no longer in her usual spot and there was blood all splattered on the floor.

"What happened?" She asked.

"P-Phoebe..."

"What's up with Phoebe? Nasan na siya?"

"T-they S-slashed Her W-Wings..." Meadow replied trembling at the horror sight she witnessed.
