You Matter More
The entire place seemed to have changed the instant they walked through their own door. It now looked like somewhere that was currently being inhabitated by humans. Unlike the dark tunnel they had just come from, the passageway they'd just entered had a proper lighting system, and it's walls weren't falling apart yet. It looked rich.
"Use your powers Wilson" Charles instructed and the policeman immediately complied. Charles could already see some soldiers coming towards their direction, and he wanted to avoid violence at all cost. The plan was to use Wilson's illusion to either knock them out or lure the soldiers away from their own location. They wanted to remain invisible for as long as possible. Engaging them this early would only call attention towards them.
