To Hell and Back
Evelyn dragged her limp body across the road while hoping help would come her way soon. She didn't know how it happened, but she'd woken with her injuries completely healed and her body devoid of scars. She had no idea who or what had saved her, but she was thankful. She was still crippled with fear, and could barely even move her body. Her entire body felt numb, but with time she was starting to feel life in some parts of her body.
It was almost as if she had died and had been reborn. She was learning to walk once more, and even when she opened her mouth to talk, the words that came out weren't even meaningful to her even though she was the one talking. Something was wrong with her she could tell, but she couldn't figure out what.
