Chapter 2

Once she was sure that the King was gone, the young woman, named Ciel, reappeared in her human form again, panting slightly from the transformation. She rubbed her temples, feeling a slight headache coming. She couldn't use her powers too often otherwise it would exhaust her quickly.

She smiled to herself, glad to be alive and thinking about the funny encounter she just had. She then continues her search for food, humming a cheerful tune. Maybe this day wouldn't be so bad after all.

Ciel continued her search for food, humming happily. She had almost forgotten about the encounter with the King when suddenly she saw a rabbit near her. She was happy to finally find something to eat. With a swift movement, she catches the rabbit and bites its neck to kill it quickly. Then, she sits on the grass eating her prey, feeling satisfied.

Ciel finishes eating the rabbit, licking her fingers clean. She feels full and satisfied. She decides to take a nap nearby, laying on the grass and closing her eyes. She falls asleep immediately, dreaming about catching more rabbits to eat later.
