Who Gave You The Order?

Ren was sitting on his chair without saying anything as he stares at the man who was kneeling in front of him.

"He haven't said anything?" asked Ren at one of his bodyguards.

"Yes, Your Highness." Answered one of his bodyguards.

Ren clenched his teeth while staring at the man again. Then, he went near him and squatted down just to look on his face.

"Tell me, who gave you the order?" asked Ren.

The man did not say anything, instead, he gave Ren a smirk.

"Okay then," said Ren as he got up, still looking at the man in front of him. "Lock him up. Don't give him food or water unless he wants to confess everything." Ordered Ren and went back to his seat.

"Yes, Your Highness." Said the bodyguards in unison. Then, before they took the man away, he had said something. "You're not gonna sit on that throne!" Shouted the man as he let out an evil laugh before the bodyguards dragged him out of the room.

As soon as that man went out of his study room, Ren let out a heavy sigh. He closed his eyes while massaging his temple looking so distressed. "Augustin, I think we both know who gave him the order… am I right?" asked Ren.

"Yes, Your Highness." Answered Augustin.

"Do a background check on that man. Find everything about him." ordered Ren. "And book our flight ticket to Andalusia this weekend. Lily might need to ease her mind from things that happened to her recently." Added Ren.

"Alright Your Highness… I shall take my leave now." Bowed Augustin and left his study room. Right after Augustin took his leave, Ren thought of having his lunch together with Lily. With that, he left his study room to meet Lily in her chamber.

Meanwhile, Lily who was in her chamber alone listening to music with her ear buds while looking at the warm sunshine through her windows. While she was listening to the music, she heard a knock on the door. She thought it was Anna and Mia reminding her to stay in bed. However, it was Lucas.

"Lucas!" called Lily. "Hello there," greeted Lucas as he gave her his smiles. "How are you doing?" asked Lucas as he went near her with his right hand inside of his pocket while his other hand was holding a bag.

"I've been doing fine… it's just that I'm bored…" pouted Lily and that made Lucas chuckled. "okay now, I need to do one last check up on you to make sure you're fine and able to get out from this boring chamber of yours~" said Lucas as he tapped the seat next to him.

As soon as Lily took a sit next to him, he took out his statoscope and places it on her chest. While Lucas was doing that, Lily really thought that he's a real doctor. A very handsome doctor. "Your heartbeat was fine." Said Lucas as he took off the statoscope and hang it around his neck.

"Do you feel any dizziness? Or feels like throwing up or anything else?" asked Ren. Lily shook her head. "No… instead, I just feel tired and things that happened yesterday still lingers in my mind and that made me feel scared…" answered Lily and Lucas nodded while listening to her.

"You feel tired might be because of the meds that you took… starting this lunch, you don't need to take any meds and I'll let Anna or Mia knows about It." said Lucas. "And also, as for what happened yesterday… it's okay… you'll forget it slowly… do things that make you happy, alright? Don't worry~" added Lucas and gave her a smile.

"Thanks, Lucas~" smiled Lily. "no problem, Ren keep on asking me a favour to do check up on you so I've got no choice but to be here~" said Lucas and Lily let out a small laugh. "You know, what I saw today is not Prince Lucas, but Doctor Lucas… I'm sure your girlfriend is so lucky to have you~" said Lily.

When Lily mentioned to Lucas about 'girlfriend', his face changed and Lily noticed it. "Lucas?" called Lily. "a-are you alright?" asked Lily.

"No worries, I'm fine… plus… my girlfriend is not here anymore…" said Lucas while zipped up his bag and stands up. "What do you mean?" asked Lily curiously.

"She died… in a car accident… 3 years ago." Answered Lucas as he gave her his dry smiles. "Lucas… I'm so sorry… I didn't know…" said Lily feeling so regret asking him about his past girlfriend.

"That's alright… I'm fine…" said Lucas. While both of them were talking, they heard a knock on the door and it was Ren.

"You're right on time." Said Lucas as he fist bumped with Ren forgetting the topic that both he and Lily talked just now. "I did the check up on her, she's fine… don't worry~" said Lucas and Ren nodded. "Yeah, thanks." Said Ren. "We should meet up later… I have things to discuss with you…" said Ren and Lucas nodded. "Alright, bye Lily~" waved Lucas as he left her chamber.

"Are you feeling okay?" asked Ren in worried as he went near her. Lily let out her small chuckle. "I'm fine… Lucas is a really good doctor…" said Lily and Ren nodded as he took a sit on her chair. Lily saw that he looked so distressed and went to sit next to him.

"What's wrong?" asked Lily.

"We have found the man… but he refused to talk about who send him…" answered Ren with a sigh. "R-really?" asked Lily as she sounds nervous. Ren noticed it and caressed her hands gently. "Don't worry… he won't do anything to you anymore… we locked him up…" said Ren and smiled trying to assure her that everything will be alright.

"What did Lucas said about you just now?" asked Ren trying to change the topic. "he said I'm fine and not to take any meds anymore… and about things that happened yesterday I was still traumatized by it… so he told me to do things that made me happy to forget it~" answered Lily.

"Oh, great then!" said Ren "I've told Augustin to book us a flight ticket…" added Ren.

"You booked a flight?" asked Lily and Ren nodded. "Where?" asked Lily again.

"Pack your bag, we're going to Andalusia for a short trip this weekend~" answered Ren with a smiles.

Then, the two of them were having their small talk together while Mia serves them some tea. Lily was thankful that Ren stayed by her side most of the time making her forget what had happened yesterday.

That night, once Ren and Lily had their dinner together, Lily told Ren that she's visiting the Queen and the King to tell them that she's fine now. As for Ren, he straight away went to his study room to meet Lucas. As soon as he got there, Lucas was already there waiting for him.

"Augustin, report to me about that man." Said Ren as he took a sit in front of Lucas who was having his tea.

"Yes Your Highness." Said Augustin as he begin to report to Lucas and Ren about the men.

"His name is Leo Felix. 30 years old. He has a mother and he stayed with her till now. His mother has an Alzheimer but once we locked him up, we have sent his mother to a caretaker as she can't be alone. Apart from that, He's also in a serious debt. I assumed the reason why he accept this job is because someone paid him a lot of money to pay off his debt. That's all, Your Highness." Said Augustin and bowed.

Both Ren and Lucas nodded in understand. As for Ren, he was staring at the screen while biting his finger, thinking. "You do realize who ordered him, don't you?" asked Lucas as he broke the silence. "Yeah, it's him obviously. Sir Luis." Answered Ren. "We need to stop him before he do something." Said Lucas. "You remember what happened to Rose and my father? We need to stop before he do it again Ren." added Lucas remembering what had happened to them 3 years ago.

Ren let out a heavy sigh. "I know Lucas. I know." Said Ren. "Thanks Augustin. You may leave now…" said Ren and Augustin bowed to him before he left the room. For the time being we just need to stay low and dig more information about him. Find his weakness, and then we attack." Said Ren.

"Okay then. I'll ask my people too I finding those information." Said Lucas.

"One more thing," said Lucas.

"What is it?" asked Ren.

"Rose memorial day is on the day you're back from Andalusia… you can bring Lily too…" said Lucas and Ren nodded.

"Don't worry, we won't let you be alone." Said Ren.
