As the batsman struggled to decipher my variations, I knew I had to come up with something special. So, I decided to unleash a lethal leg-cutter, and boy did it work like a charm!

The ball pitched on the middle stump and deviated away, leaving the batsman bewildered as he tried to flick it. I was convinced it was an LBW, but the umpire had other ideas, which left me fuming. Though, I knew I had to keep my cool since DRS was still two years away.

However, once DRS is introduced, I plan to be a trailblazer in taking the right call for an LBW. With the ability to see the rotation and impact of my deliveries, I know I can make the most of this technology. But for now, I had to accept the umpire's decision and move on.

Undeterred, I decided to end the over with a yorker aimed at the base of the off stump. The batsman dug it out, but I managed to catch it cleanly, returning to my mark with a confident strut.
