Laura POV

I stopped in front of Mabel as she stared at me, her eyes filled with one ready to give me the attention I didn't need.

"The contract wife is here again," She said, smiling at me.

I stared at Xavier for a while before I gave a response, he stared back at me with a soft face not the cold glare I had expected.

It tells me maybe he wanted me to help him get out of that. But I'm sure that's not it. He wouldn't want me to intervene, getting rid of Mabel shouldn't be a problem for him but he was okay with her touching him like she was doing.

I wasn't okay with that though, she's being out of lane.

I snapped her hands off Xavier's shirt first as I held onto it. She tried getting her hands off my grasp but I didn't let go.

"Get your hands off me!" She yelled.
