Getting to know people

"My name's Hirata Yousuke. Back in junior high, lots of people called me Yousuke. Feel free to use my first name I guess my hobby is sports in general, but I especially like football. I'm planning on playing football here, too. Nice to meet you!"

Hirata had effortlessly introduced and shared his passion for football. His popularity has sky-rocketed. I could see some girls having heart in their eyes especially the girl next to him. Someone like him would most likely end up dating the cutest girl in the class due to how high-school life work.

"Well then, I'd like everyone to introduce themselves, starting from the front. Is that okay?"

Although the girl who was at the head of the class seemed kind of scared, she made up her mind and stood. Rather she was pressured by Hirata's word.

"M-my name is...Inogashira Ko-Ko..."

Her last name was Inogashira. She seemed freeze during her introduction. Did she not plan it?

"Do your best!"

"Don't panic! It's okay!"

Kind words were coming out of the mouth of our classmates. However the girl seemed to be completely paralyzed. Her words seem to be stuck in the back of her throat. 5 seconds then 10 seconds of silence. Some girls were giggling slightly. What a bunch of bitch. Inogashira probably suffers from glossophobia. It won't be a surprise considering the fact that more nearly 75% of the population has glossophobia.

They shouldn't have giggle, now Inogashira is completely paralyze with fear. Another girl spoke up.

"It's okay to go slowly. Don't rush." It was the annoying girl who was on the bus earlier this day.

Although it might seem kind, saying, "Do your best!" and, "It's okay!" it actually conveys a completely different meaning. To someone who is extremely nervous, "Do your best!" and, "It's okay!" can actually seem forceful, as if indicating she needs to match her classmates expectations. On the other hand, saying, "Just take things slowly. Don't rush," allows her to take things at her own pace.

With that, the girl calmed herself and regained her posture. She took a few deep breath and spoke again.

"My name is Inogashira...Kokoro. Um, my hobby is sewing. I'm pretty good at knitting. I-It's nice to meet you all."

She seemed relieved, embarrassed and delighted. Other introductions followed up.

"I'm Yamauchi Haruki. I competed in table tennis during elementary school, and in junior high I was the ace player on our baseball team. I was number four. I got hurt during the inter-high school championships, though, and I'm undergoing rehab now. Nice to meet you."

That was the guy who was next to me and was creepily stalking the girls. Not only is he a pervert but also a dumbass and a liar.

"Well then, I'm next, aren't I?"

"My name is Kushida Kikyou. None of my friends from junior high made it to this school, so I'm alone here. I'd like to get to know all of your names and faces right away and become friends as soon as possible!"

While most student only said a few line, she basically told her entire biography and still kept on going.

"My first goal is to become friends with everyone. So, after we're finished with introductions, I'd love for you to share your contact information with me!"

"So, after school or during vacations, I want to make all sorts of memories with lots of people. Please feel free to invite me to lots and lots of events Anyway, I've talked for a long time, so I'll end my introduction here."

"Well then, next up is..."

As Hirata looked encouragingly toward the next student, that student glared back. His hair was dyed a fiery red. He both looked and sounded like a delinquent.

"What, are we a bunch of little kids or something? I don't need to introduce myself. People who want to do that can go ahead. Just leave me out of it."

The red-haired guy scowled at Hirata. He had quite a presence, his attitude intense and overpowering.

"I can't force you to introduce yourself, of course. However, I don't think that getting along with your classmates is a bad thing. If I've made you uncomfortable, I apologize."

When Hirata bowed his head, some of the girls glared at the guy with red hair.

"Isn't it fine to introduce yourself?" one of them snapped.

"Yeah, yeah!"

As I'd expected, the pretty-boy had captured most of the girls' hearts with his personality in the blink of an eye. However, half of the male students started to look angry, probably out of jealousy.

"Shut it. I don't care. I didn't come here to make friends." The guy with red hair got up from his seat. It seemed he had no intention of getting to know anyone. He was pretty annoying with that attitude of his. A few other students followed him as he leaved the class. The black haired girl also left the class.

"They're not a bad bunch. It's my fault. I was being selfish and made people do this."

Yeah, it is annoying as not everyone wants to introduce and would prefer meeting and knowing their classmates slowly and not instantly

"No way. You didn't do anything wrong, Hirata-kun. Let's just leave those guys be, okay?"

As expected a few students did rebel against the idea of introducing themselves, however those remain were probably happy to introduced or wanted to be on the good side of the popular kids.

"I'm Ike Kanji. I love girls, and I hate pretty boys. I'm currently in the market for a new girlfriend. It's nice to meet you! All the better if you're a cutie or a beauty!"

He looked dumb and like a pervert. I won't be surprise if he was friend with that Yamauchi guy.

It was difficult to tell if he was joking or not due to his dumb look. At the very least, the girls looked at him with revulsion.

"Wow. You are so cool, Ike-kun," one girl said, in a completely emotionless voice. Of course, her statement was 100 percent false.

"Seriously? Oh, man. I mean, I thought that I wasn't bad or anything, but...heh heh."

Apparently, Ike thought that she was being serious. He is a bigger dumbass than I thought. He blushed.

Instantly, the girls started to laugh.

"Oh, wow. He's cute, huh, everyone? He's looking for a girlfriend!"

Ike continued to jovially go along with the teasing. He didn't seem like a bad guy, though.

Next up was Koenji.

He was inspecting his hair bangs with a mirror and decided to comb hair.

"Excuse me, can you introduce yourself?" Hirata asked.

"Hmph. Fine."

"My name is Koenji Rokusuke. As the sole male heir to the Koenji conglomerate group, I will soon be tasked with carrying Japan into the future. I sincerely look forward to making your acquaintance, ladies."

He was an interesting man. His introduction was purely made for the opposite sex and not the entire class. Some girl were looking at him with sparkles and others were looking at him with genuine disgust. It is only natural for them to have this kind reaction after his weird introduction

I guess next up will be me.

"Starting today, I will mercilessly punish anyone who makes me uncomfortable. Please exercise proper precaution so that you may avoid that." Koenji kept on continuing

"Um, Koenji-kun. What exactly do you mean when you say, 'anyone who makes me uncomfortable'?" asked Hirata, who looked quite uneasy at the word "punish."

"I meant exactly what I said. If asked to give an example, well... I would say I hate ugly things, for instance. So, if I saw something ugly, I would do just as I said."

Fwish! He flipped his long, flowing bangs.

"Ah, thank you. I will be careful then."

I guess now is my turn.

"Can you introduce yourself Kaiba-kun?"

Can I say No? I guess I will looked like a dick if I do that.

Every girl and even boys were looking at me with anticipation. Some girls were looking at me with a disgust look, probably due to my open flirting with Chabashira. I understand why the girls were looking at me, but why are the boys staring in my soul?

"My name is Kaiba Yuki. I liked to play tennis and chess. I hope we can all get along together."

I did a simple introduction. I could have say that I can do nearly anything but this would made me look like an arrogant person and who would like to say such a thing . Sometimes its hard when you can do nearly everything possible. I could see some girls having heart eyes and other were blushing. I guess it was due to my behavior. I am not the type of person to freak out when having a conversation. I also saw Kei who was looking at me with sparkle in her eyes and also a surprised look.

KEI POV

Thats Yuki? How did he become so....chill? He has such a cool and chill aura. He looks so matured and handsome. Stop fangirling over him Kei.

I kept looking at him and saw the other girls looking at him with heart eyes. His looks were perfect, his height and voice was also perfect. I saw Yuki looking back me. He smiled and waved slightly his hand towards me. I couldn't help but blush slightly. He looks so handsome and his eyes look so pretty. Wait his eyes? Why does he have 2 different eye colors? Did he always have that and I just forgot about it? Maybe but I guess I will have to ask him later on.

YUKI POV

Did she just blush?

"I hope we can get along Kaiba-kun"

"Hmm. Yeah"

With that my introduction was over and the rest of the class introduction kept going until it reached the brown haired boy in the bus.

"Well then, time for the next person. Can you please introduce yourself?"

"Huh?"

I guess he was day-dreaming. I feel you bro, I also nearly did that a couple of time.

Clack! The chair rattled as he stood up. This already made it awkward.

"Um. Well, my name is Ayanokoji Kiyotaka. And, uh, I don't really have any special skills or anything. I'll do my best to get along with all of you. It's, uh, nice to meet you."

Wait? Did he say his name was Ayanokoji? Is he related to the Professor? There is a slight possibility of him being family with that guy. Japan is big country so I won't be surprise if this guy doesn't know the Professor. Anyways I guess I will keep an eye on him.

AYANOKOJI POV

Well? Was that really my introduction? I could have done a better introduction. How did Kaiba and Hirata do their introduction so calmy? I need to learn that skill from them.

Instinctively buried my head in my hands. I hadn't had time to construct a proper introduction because I'd been too busy daydreaming. It was the worst possible intro. It didn't attract attention, and absolutely no one would remember it.

"It's nice to meet you, Ayanokouji-kun. I always want to be friends with everyone, just like you. Let's both do our best, okay?" Hirata responded

with a refreshing smile.

Everyone clapped. Their applause felt somewhat like pity, which strangely pained me. Despite that, however, I felt kind of glad.

YUKI POV

After the class introduction, a couple of girls decided to ask for my number.

I left the classroom. I will have my reunion with Kei another day for now let me explore the school before going to the store.

At first I decided to explore the corridors of the school. I noticed that there were cameras similar to the classroom, however a few place had no cameras at all not even hidden cameras. I counted a total of 559 cameras in all the corridors of the school including the hidden ones and those in the class D. I then decided to explore the classrooms but not the classrooms of our year. I went to the second year section and peeked inside class D and in class B as they were the only class which had students and had their doors slightly open enough for me to peek in and not look weird.

The main difference that I notice between the two senior classes were that class B students seemed to have accessories that are kind of expensive whereas class D students seemed to be on a budget. Other than that both classes had similar atmosphere where the students are mostly disciplined which is kind of rare to see in a school especially in free hours like that. I guess this kind of support the theory that the points are variable and changes each month. Now that I have calculated the number of cameras in the school and has a heavy knowledge on the S-system, I can fixate myself on my main objectives for coming to this school.

First of, I want to live a fairly normal life. I want to have one which is exciting. I also want to be able to live a school life where I won't be dependent on other which basically mean that I don't want my private points to be influenced by the class actions. So I have to find a way to get private points. I guess a senpai can help me with that or I could basically extort from other students.

Secondly, I need to find a way to protect myself from getting expel. I noticed that this school have a high rate of expulsion based on a few articles that I researched about this school. Which means that I either need a good social status or have a high position in the school system. To have a good social status I need to have friends a.k.a allies or like I love to called them puppets or pawns who can protect me when I need them and to have a high position in the school system I need to find a way to become a member in the student council. I need to check the student council at some point.

So let me classify my current objectives:

1. Find a way to extort private points without getting caught by the school or find a senpai to help in gaining more private points.

2. Achieve a high social status or a high position in the school system to prevent expulsion. If possible achieve both.

3. Enjoy myself. It is the most important objective.

So let me start from the first one. Oh by the way while I was in my monologue strategizing about my future plans, I was still roaming the school and reached the park. Let me take a break in the park before going to the convenience store. I entered the park and roamed around. It was very peaceful. There were very few student. I guess most of them are in the mall. I sat in one of the bench relaxing myself.

It was actually so peaceful that I could actually fall asleep here.

"You are sitting on my bench kouhai."

Huh? I lifted my head and saw a girl to be more precise a platinum haired girl. A beautiful platinum haired woman if I had to be more extremely accurate.

"There are many other benches around. You could sit on another one." I said while pointing towards the bench.

"I like this one much more kouhai." She said.

She sat next to me and spread her arm on the bench. She was the type of woman to have a dominant and demanding personality.

"I don't think that it is a good habit to disturb someone like that."

"I just want to sit on the bench kouhai. Is it too much to ask?" She responded with a smirk.

"Anyways kouhai let's not start a pointless conversation and enjoy ourselves here."

She is right. I don't want to start a pointless debate between the two of us.

We both sat quietly for the next few minutes. It was very peaceful. I guess I will come here a lot more than I envisioned. The smell of nature, the pure air and the quietness made this place feel like heaven.

"Are you enjoying yourself kouhai?"

"Yes. Why are you asking?"

"It's rare to see people enjoying this place. It's good to know that I am not the only one who likes this place."

'How do they not enjoy this place?'

"What's your name kouhai?"

"Kaiba Yuki"

"Kaiba Yuki? You were the kid who got the highest mark in the entrance?"

Huh? How does she know something like that? She is probably in the second or third year and should have basically no knowledge about the exam of first years.

"Yes, how do you know about that senpai?"
