Unfortunately, when the doctor came out of the laboratory, the test result showed that he was not the biological father of the child. He was shocked to the core. Kim was jotted back to reality by the horn of a car coming behind.

He decided to forget about Kate forever and face his life. He said he would never listen to his mom's advice concerning marriage again, but he thanked God that his mum later regretted that she rejected Sophia after Kate beat her up.

The thought of finding out if Sophia was married or not clouded his mind. He thought that if she was not yet married, he still got the chance to marry her since Sophia was fully aware that it was his mother that ended their relationship, and now that her mother wants her, or anybody irrespective of her background, you have the chance. He smiled to himself and entered the hospital.

Kim quickly went to meet his friend; he gave him the food. After he stepped out of the ward, he called Sophia to ask where she was.

Meanwhile, Sophia went home a few minutes after she saw Kim. She went to freshen up and also prepared a meal for her parents. She was in the kitchen when she heard her phone ringing. She went to check who the person was and she discovered that it was an unknown number. She did not pick up at first but later decided to pick up on the third ring of her phone.

"Hello!, who is this?" She asked curiously.

"It's me, Kim," she heard Kim's soft voice from the other end.

Sophia missed the voice after their relationship ended. Sophia did not know whether to keep cool with him or if she should not give him an audience.

He said apologetically, "I'm sorry for all that happiness in the past. I'm still regretting it now."

Sophia did not know what to say. She had already been captured by Kim's tiny voice, like that of a female.

Hello, are you there? Or are you still mad at me? " Kim asked.

"Yes, I'm still there," Sophia answered softly.

"Please, when are you coming back to the hospital, or has your dad been discharged already?" Kim asked calmly.

"No, I came to prepare food for him and his mum," she answered softly.

"But I already got food for you and them. Please don't say no. Come over," Kim asked pleadingly.

Sophia initially objected but later accepted. She only made coffee for them and headed to the hospital.

As she was about to enter, her phone rang. It was Wilson.

Meanwhile, Wilson decided to pay a surprise visit to Sophia in her town to check on the health of her parents. He called Sophia and greeted her. He asked about her dad's health and the hospital where they are in her town. She told him, and he hung up the call.

Wilson went to the market to buy some clothes, shoes, and food. He packed them into his boot and went home to change his clothes.

Sophia got to the hospital and found her dad in a better condition. He was chatting with his wife happily. She ran to him and embraced him happily. She asked how her father was doing and he gave her a positive answer by saying that he would be discharged in two days. He was very happy to hear that he would leave the hospital.

While they were still chatting, they heard a knock on the door. Sophia was already expecting Kim because she had told him that she was back from home. He told him to enter.

Kim would have died if looks could kill; he greeted them, saying, "Evening, sir and ma'am."Sophia's father answered him.

Kim prostrated flat on the floor and apologized to Sophia's parents for breaking her heart. He continued by saying it was not his fault that he did that, but his overprotective mother who forced him to end the relationship with Sophia. Kim explained further that if they allowed him, his mother could come and apologize because she later regretted her actions after the wife she forced him to marry.

Before Kim finished explaining, tears began to flow freely from his eyes. Sophia pitied him and helped him up. She had forgiven him long ago. Sophia's parents also comforted him and forgave him. They said that they knew full well that it was not his fault. Kim asked if they had forgiven him. They should accept the food he bought for them. Mr. Bernard signaled to his daughter to collect the itch. She did.

After some minutes, Kim stood up to leave the meeting he had scheduled in his office two hours before that time. He promised to check on Sophia's parents anything when he came around. Sophia stood up to see him off. They were both standing beside Kim's car. Kim suggested that they should enter his car so that he would have some things to discuss with her.

When Sophia reluctantly entered his car, Kim first apologized for everything.

He narrated how he was forced to marry her mother's friend's daughter. How did the lady give her another person's child as his son? Kim began to shed tears again. Sophia had no idea when tears began to fall from her eyes. She quickly wiped it and consoled Kim that it was in the past and that he should continue with his life. Kim was relieved by the encouraging words spoken to him by Sophia. He wished he could have her back. For now, Kim asked if they could be friends. Sophia laughed and said, "No problem."

I've been talking about myself. What about you too? How are you, your husband, and your children? "Kim asked jokingly, but he meant it. He was praying silently in his mind that Sophia should say that she is not yet married.

"Hmm, as you can see, I'm very fine, but I'm not yet married," Sophia said with a smile.

"Really?" Kim asked with a broad smile. He could not contain his happiness. He started to laugh.

"Alright, but I really should commend your dressing. You are looking dead gorgeous," he said, still smiling and staring at her.

Kim gave Sophia his card and said that they would talk on the phone until he had to leave because of his appointment. So, when Sophia stepped out of his car, he too got out to see her off.

As they were still chatting and laughing, a car halted beside them. Sophia was so surprised by who came out of the car.
