After what seemed like forever, the discussion came to an end. His legs were trembling. CEO Chu did not earn his reputation of being swift and decisive for nothing.
"See you next time then, CEO Chu" The other party quickly left.
Chu Yichen nodded and leaned back in his chair. He picked up the phone on the table and made a call.
At the apartment
Li An'an was removing her makeup. It felt terrible to have so much foundation on her face. Chu Yichen's call came in just as she was done washing her face. She dried her face on a towel and answered the phone.
"CEO Chu, what's the matter?"
"Where are you?" Chu Yichen's spoke with a low drawl.
"At home. I'm on leave today and haven't woken up yet. I'm going to sleep in."
In order to make Chu Yichen less suspicious, Li An'an bounced on the bed a few times.
"Still in bed." Chu Yichen's voice was a little hoarse. He took a sip of coffee slowly.
