Chapter 39

"Take me to her quickly. If she falls sick, just know that you are the cause of it, and I will reprimand you for it until you cannot take it anymore" Susan told Richard. She hated seeing her kids sick. The suffering that they encountered when they were ill was usually too heart wrenching.

"Let's go this way" Richard told her. Now he was willing to cooperate, seeing that his kid's health was at stake. He had stopped fighting with Susan, at least for now. Never had he had to raise any kids. This was the first time in his life, as a matter of fact, that he had been this close to kids. He was learning.

As expected from someone as egocentric and pompous as Richard, he did not even fancy having kids around him.
