When Xi Ana said those words he then remembered the purpose of this meal, he got carried away with the flow of the conversation that he almost forgot what he needed to do although it is not intentional.

Xi Ana is the only person who could easily make him lose track of what's in front of him, there are even times when he just wanted to enjoy the moment they were together without minding everything around them but of course that can't be.

Upon remembering everything that he had to tell Xi Ana, his face turned serious and there is no hint of the playfulness of reminiscing from earlier.
