Diana immediately contacted a private investigator to investigate the mysterious lady's identity, but it was going to be difficult since her face was covered by a mask, but not impossible.

She had faith in her private detective. He was going to sniff the lady out, this was not the first time she had worked with him. After some negotiations, they finally agreed on the price. Diana immediately paid part of the money upfront and the rest would be sent after the job was done.

She was sure many people were investigating the same matter, even if she was not one to unravel it, the truth would surely surface. After she was done, she had a satisfied smirk on her face, it was a game against time. The only problem would be if Jayden himself tried to suppress the investigation, but she doubted Jayden would be able to stop everyone interested in the case.

Even though Jayden was an impressive businessman his family identity was a mystery and Diana doubted it would be too impressive at most one of the prominent families in Port Marino, there was even a possibility he was a self-made billionaire too because Jayden kept his family history a secret.

Her private detective was an International professional and an expert in the field, he also worked as an information seller to the Black Market and government agency. So she was confident in his skills. Diana was desperate to get any information on the mysterious lady because she was desperate to know anything about Jayden.

Vanessa woke up late in the morning because she slept late last night. Cynthia was already awake. Fortunately, Cynthia was feeling better today, she had cleared her corner of all the garbage, showered and even prepared breakfast for herself and Vanessa.

She greeted Vanessa in the morning with a bright smile and even offered her a cup of coffee. Vanessa was not truly convinced that Cynthia had learned to handle her heartbreak because she was aware of the fact Cynthia was a good actress.

Vanessa was convinced Cynthia was trying to put on an act to be strong after how Vanessa saw her to be so vulnerable yesterday. Vanessa showered and got ready for a new day before she drank the coffee. It was creamy, just the way Vanessa loved.

Today Vanessa was in a good mood because of the ten thousand dollars in her account she hit the jackpot yesterday. Who would have thought or even imagined the possibility of her client being Jayden Ashford the Infamous CEO of JayxTech and this generation's recognized the brightest genius, but it happened, and she made easy ten thousand bucks. 

When you have money, even food tastes better in your mouth, the creamy coffee hits differently from the strong aroma to the rich smell, she savors every taste with a bright smile on her face. Coffee had never tasted this good before.

Even though Cynthia was putting an act on, she was not her chatty and annoying self today, so she did not pay much attention to Vanessa who was grinning from ear to ear. She was playing with her food but suddenly stopped when she saw a post on Twitter among the trends ' Isn't that Vanessa.' she questioned herself looking at the picture of Jayden Ashford and his mysterious date at the Vinci gala.

She threw a glance at Vanessa who was grinning ear to ear, obviously in a good mood. She remembered yesterday Vanessa had a date or rather a job appointment, was Vanessa happy because her date turned out to be Jayden.

But she immediately threw those thoughts away from her head, there was no way the Jayden Ashford she had heard of would rent an escort to follow him when there were so many girls willingly spending time with him for free but why was Vanessa in a good mood this morning after waking up. Cynthia's brows furrowed thinking about the possibility.

" Vanessa, I think I have discovered your twin, can you imagine the resemblance? I would have even sworn it was you who was with Jayden Ashford in this picture." Cynthia teased Vanessa as she showed her the picture on Twitter, it was also on Facebook too.

Venessa's eyes shot open, realizing that pictures of her and Jayden from the gala had flooded the internet. " Jeez, That's a shocker, I am even shocked she looks so similar to me in figure. It is such as shame her face was covered. " Vanessa gushed, with her eyes popped out and her hand rushing to cover her mouth as she gasped.

 It was not hard for her to fake a surprised reaction because she was truly shocked at how she had gotten popular, well, technically but what did she imagine from Jayden who had a large fan base that could compare with A-list celebrities?

" Yeah, that's a bummer. We could have compared who is prettier among you guys." Cynthia grunted disappointed.

" I am not a narcissist, so I am sure she would be better looking you can compare a poor street orchin like me to someone like her. She is obviously from a good background to be Jayden's date." Vanessa stated she was done with her coffee and was microwaving the breakfast Cynthia had prepared since it had gotten cold already.

" How sure are you about? You can never tell."

" Well, I think common sense and Instincts," Vanessa replied. Cynthia later asked her a few questions about her date yesterday. Vanessa already had a lie planned out, she said they spent some time in the park before heading out for some barbecue and ended the day strolling and talking about random kinds of stuff.

" My client was nice and easy to get along with." Vanessa lied through her teeth, there was no way she would tell Cynthia her clients had mood swings and was a conversation killer like Jayden.

Vanessa enjoyed her breakfast fast, it was a simple sandwich with some eggs and bacon accompanied by a glass of fruit juice.

She later called her aunty Karissa to ask about her health and sent some money to Karissa to cover the drug expenses. She hadn't heard any feedback from Karissa after she pleaded with her aunt to visit the hospital because of her deteriorating health.

Karissa Informed her it was just stress and some minor health issues and claimed that she hadn't spoken to Vanessa since she went to the hospital Because she was busy running her little restaurant, which was the main source of income for the little family of three.

" But you should not overwork yourself, since you are already under much stress. I would advise you to take a break or hire someone to help." Vanessa complained to get aunt that since it was a local restaurant, her aunt only had one staff to help, plus Zayn normally helped out after school. So the workload was much on Aunty Karissa.

" I can manage if I am not here, there is no way they can manage. The doctor said I would be fine as long as I find time to rest, take my medication and spend some time on leisure activities." Karissa assured Vanessa. Karissa had to keep the store running to cover all her expenses, including Vanessa's school fees.

" Please take care of yourself and don't worry too much about me. I am coping well with school." Vanessa's exhausted voice told Karissa over the phone. Karissa's health has been bothering her a lot.

Karissa chuckled lightly when she Vanessa's caring words," You Don't have to worry too much about me, I am an adult. I know how to take care of myself." She reassured Vanessa who was still distressed after that, they chatted for a while about Zayn and how things were going back in town before ending the call.

Cynthia was busy watching a movie on her laptop. So Vanessa decided against bothering her.

She logged in to her Family Fantasy account to check her bookings. There were not any new bookings yet, her meet-up this Saturday was still there. She also checked her reviews and was a little pissed that Jayden hasn't written a review or rated her yet. She massaged the space between her brows, and Vanessa could feel a slight headache coming. Ratings and reviews were critical to her.

Since she could not force a client to rate her, she decided to forget about it for now and focus on her assignment this afternoon. 

Vanessa chatted up with her client to confirm if their appointment was still on for the day and also the location. Her client relayed the information about which mall and the exact time to meet, which was still within the booked period.

Since it was a simple hangout in the mall, Vanessa felt there was no need to bother Cynthia about it. So she chose simple attire, blue jeans, and a floral blouse with loosed sleeves. The temperature today was okay, so she didn't wear a Jacket.

She decided a pair of sandals with average heels so as not to look too simple. Her make-up was not much, just a little bit to brighten her face. It was almost nude, so you won't realize she had make-up on.

She wore Cynthia's wig Instead of the one she wore to the gala since her pictures were all over Twitter. She didn't want to run into a situation where someone would recognize her. Although she can just deny it, prevention is Vanessa's than cure
