CHAPTER 26

Erika, drawn to her soft matters, the sadness and the disappointment never let her alone, she covered her head with the pillow, which had already gotten wet from her endless tears.

The lamp light was dim, the window cracked by the blowing wind, she wiped her shameful tears and looked in the mirror, to see a lady of her twenty six years crying like an infant, she slapped herself and raised her gaze with an evil smile, she put on her lip stick, and she insisted on going to the bar.

It was midnight; furthermore, she was done with make-up and headed to choose a shiny party dress. She noticed her phone, fifty calls from her husband, and two from an unknown number.

She threw her phone on the bed, then made her front hair strands in a wavy style, with their bracelets specially curled up.

"I've got to take some rest," Erika whispered as she gazed at her beauty in the large mirror that was on the wall near the window. The fierce wind blew through it, scattering her hair unconsciously. She closed her eyes as if a storm had hit her room. The flying papers filled the atmosphere.

"What's the hell?" Erika uttered, she hesitated to look out side, she grabbed her fists, slowly biting her teeth, "Whatever it's not my cup of tea?" She took her phone from the messing bed to notice his message, which informed her to meet him on the rooftop.

"He must be kidding," Erika muttered as she put on more lipstick. She made her way to the rooftop, where she curled her heart. "You're not going to cry if he hurts you again; I warn you girl, I'm out of this," Erika said to herself as she stood in the middle of the roof with her gaze to the sky.

All the helicopter lights were on her, and her dress was shining brightly. All of a sudden, the helicopters flew by the two sides of the building where she was. She could hear many people's screams of astonishment and stupefaction.

She held her heart in her hand, watching the risky moves upon her sights. The sound of an explosion swelled, and Erika closed her eyes. The sound was like fireworks. So she opened them slowly, surprised by his apology in the sky.

"I'm begging for your forgiveness; I'm really sorry, my iron lady." Erika read what was written on the sky, and to be more surprised was the presence of Mr. Rafael, who got off the helicopter with a ladder like clowns in amusement parks and pawned to stand tall in front of her.

She blinked twice, stepping back; she didn't think he would go this far for her. He kneeled with eyes, swearing to her to believe him. Many flowers of different colors and shapes fell from the top of them; it was a descent that captured hearts and captivated them with its mysterious beauty.

The helicopters made their way off the building, and only the bright lights of the fireworks shone on the place and reflected on their charmy eyes. The chemistry between them was great to the point that both of them could not deny this fact.

"I'm sure that she would fall into my arms. I don't know exactly what upsets her mood, but I have to do something to have her under my control," Mr. Rafael thought, his stare full of passion and a strong desire to mark her body rising on his dazzling face.

Erika's sassy smile rose. She sighed and crossed her hands and looked at him from head to toe. He got up, for she seemed more angry. "Every lady will love this way of apologizing; I sometimes doubt her gender," Mr. Rafael thought as he swallowed his saliva.

"You don't have to impress me with your unlimited power and wealth, Mr. Rafael; do you know what time it is?" Erika's voice tone became high as she kept stepping towards him.

"I bet you scared many people by this useless play. I don't give a damn about the way you apologize, but rather the apology itself. I will be satisfied if your apology comes truely from your heart, with a forever guarantee that you will never repeat the past mistakes or hurt me again." Erika yelled, pressing the tips of her fingers on his suit. She pushed him in such a way that it was only the edge of the building; one step and he would fall down, smashing his head.

"I'm unique. Try to treat me like this," Erika hissed in his ear. Mr.Rafael grabbed her waist and placed her at the edge. She watched the height of the building, and as he leaned closer, raising his eyebrow, he had enough hearing of her.

"I see you're all dressed up; are you going on a date?" Mr. Rafael asked her, his eyes checking from her lips to her whole body. She looked perfect tonight.

Erika sighed with a thin smith; she wished she could go out with him, but the problem was with his manners and the bad temper he had.

"You did not focus on my speech; come on," Erika whispered while her red tears were resisting to stay frozen. He showed her the most delicate smile she had ever seen.

"I'm focusing on you, mainly, while distracted by you at the same time. If you want me to hear you out, probably stop being this hot" he said as he tried to undress her by pulling the zipper of her dress down.

"Mr. Rafael, stop. Another stupid move from you, and I will jump," Erika screamed. She pulled him away and stepped on the edge, the wind playing with her hair.

"You have to be more polite and delicate while dealing with me," Erika thought, as she wanted him to read her thoughts.

"Hey Erika, you override it, come down; it's dangerous there," Mr. Rafael said with a worried voice. His eyes were still on her. She smiled and looked at the height again.

"If you are going to keep teasing me like this, there's no need for my life, even though our marriage was just on papers, so let me put an end to this hilarious drama. I'm really thick of you, Mr. Rafael," Erika whispered, letting her tears down as she fell from the building.
