Olivia's POV:
Later, we arrived at the hospital and approached Orlene's ward. At that moment, Bruno hurried towards us while holding a document: "Sir, the divorce papers are..." He was saying when Mr. Bennett signaled that he should stop speaking.
"We will talk later," he said, and Bruno nodded. I took a peek at the paper but couldn't read it properly because Bruno placed it by his side, but I guessed the first party's name as Bennett.
Was he preparing our divorce papers? Was the reason for which he married me over?
I glared at him, and he had a calm look. He walked to Orlene's ward, but something rooted me to the ground. "Olivia," he called, and I regained my senses before following him.
We got to Orlene's ward, and she was with Mr. Adams, "Brother." She called in a cheerful tone, but Mr. Bennett frowned.
"What did I say about receiving visits only from family?" he asked, and I sighed. Wasn't he exaggerating? Mr. Adams was no stranger.
