Determined to escape her unwanted marriage, Olivia vows to make Alexander divorce her so she can return to her fiancé. But Alexander, consumed by possessiveness, refuses to let the woman he ever loved go. With money and influence at his disposal, he promises to give her everything that she desires. Confident that love will bloom between them but Olivia has just one desire “Mr. Billionaire, let me go… I don’t love you.” Will Olivia succumb to Alexander’s charms, or will she find a way to break free and reclaim her heart? **** "Holding a wedding without me?" a hoarse and manly voice echoed from the door, bodyguards dressed in black suits surrounded the hall and this got me.   Who were they? Then a tall man, with rough black hair, hazel eyes, and dressed in a tailored design suit walked in with his hands in his pocket.   After a moment of silence, he looked up at me and then at Dad.   "Mr. Bennett, it's you…can we please resolve this case somewhere else? My daughter is getting married now." Father said with a pleading tone and I was surprised, so I walked towards him and shivered in fear.   I couldn't help but be scared, the man's aura was far more dangerous than that of my boss and he seemed like someone from the second generation of billionaires, how did Father get entangled with him?   "No, I want it to be settled here," he added.   I clenched my fist as I swallowed the lump in my throat. Can't he see I am about to get married right now? "I understand," Father said in a submissive tone, this only meant that he was in the wrong.   "Father, who is this?" I asked when Natalie rushed towards me before whispering a few words, my lips fell in shock. Alexander Bennett?   "Bruno, show him the contract." Mr. Bennett signaled and a man dressed in a brown suit approached us with a blue file containing a well printed contract.   Father held it with shivering hands as he read the contract "This…" he stuttered and then glared at me.   Out of curiosity, I grabbed the file from Father before reading it, there was just one clause written on it.   He wanted me to marry him today and pay off father's debt or else father will have to spend the rest of his life in jail.   The paper fell off my hand as I glared at Mr. Bennett, this was the first time we met so why would he want to marry me? Now that I remember, the other man looks familiar. He is the man I scolded yesterday, did they want to take revenge?   "Father, please tell me you don't owe him such a huge sum," I asked with a glimmer of hope, praying that this was all a dream. Caleb walked towards me as he was confused as well, he picked up the paper and read it.   "This is crazy." he launched his fist to hit Mr. Bennett who quickly dodged it and some guards hurried and pinned Caleb down.   "It's my wedding, you can't replace me," Caleb said in a bitter tone. check out my other book 180 DAYS TO DIVORCE

Mr. Bennett, Let Me Go

Olivia's POV:

We arrived at the mansion, and I walked down the car when Bruno carried Orlene to the wheelchair. He pushed her inside, and I turned to follow when Mr. Bennett held my hand.

"Uh?" I was confused as to why he stopped me.

He took out a box from the car and handed it to me. I was confused and opened it to find it was the latest iPhone 15 Pro Max.

"Woah," I gasped before pushing the phone back to him.

"I don't want this," I said, and he frowned.

"It's just a phone; will you reject it?" He asked angrily, and I sighed. I had to admit I needed a phone, but he should have bought something that I would be able to refund one day.

I held the box tightly; it was bad whenever I thought about the fact that I didn't have a penny.

"My contact is saved there; you shouldn't use your old SIM," he said, and I glared at him in disbelief. Why were there terms? And why won't he want me to use my old phone?

"Let's go in," he said, wrapping his hand around my waist to my surprise as we both walked in. This was frustrating, and I don't know why I let it be.

When we got in, I took a step away from him as I hurried to the bedroom. I needed to call my father now that I had a phone.

I switched on the phone and checked the contact. I almost dropped the phone when I saw the one contact saved there with the name "Hubby".

Was he being serious? I sneered and made a mental note to change it with time. I dialed my father's number, and it got connected after a few rings.

"Father, it's me," I said.

"Olivia, how are you doing, dear?" My father asked, and I was relieved when his voice didn't have any hint of sadness or pain.

"I am fine," I replied and then thought of how he was. Did he finally get discharged?

"Father, did you get discharged?"If yes, then don't return to that job. You almost lost your life there," I said angrily, and he chuckled.

"I will be discharged tomorrow; can you come over with Mr. Bennett? I want to thank him personally," he said, and I sighed.

"Father, I will thank him on your behalf," I said, and I heard him click his tongue angrily.

"Why will you thank him on my behalf? I am not dead, and he was so kind to me. He even bought the furniture shop and placed me as the manager," my father said, and I got confused.

"He did what?" I asked in disbelief, and it turned out he didn't only pay my father's bills. He even bought his job and placed him as the boss. Why was he being kind to me and my parents?

"Bring him over tomorrow or else I won't forgive you; I need to go now," the father said and hung up.

I fell on the bed exhausted. I was right about one thing. If the first person's voice I heard today was Mr. Adams, then it was normal for my dad to get ruined, so I need to make sure never to listen to Mr. Bennett's voice first, otherwise, I might get hit by a truck.

After thinking for a while, I found it only fair that I thank Mr. Bennett personally. I know he married me forcefully, and I still hate him for that, but helping my parents wasn't part of the contract.

I got upstairs and stood by his door, contemplating whether to knock or not. I sighed and decided to thank him tomorrow. I turned to leave when the door pulled open, and I was pulled with great force and gently laid on the bed with Mr. Bennett on top of me.

My eyes widened in shock as I tried to analyze what was happening. Our eyes met, and it was difficult to look away. It felt like I was paralyzed by his looks, and I didn't want to be cured.

He brought his lips closer and closer. I clenched my fist as I contemplated what to do, then he brought his lips closer to my ears and he bit them slightly before whispering, "Did you miss me?" he asked, and I was embarrassed as I pushed him away and quickly stood up.

My face was hot as I touched my ears; it was hotter, and I couldn't understand what that sensational feeling was.

"Mr. Bennett," I called, frustrated, and he held my hand. With a swift moment, he pulled me to him, and I found myself sitting on his thigh with him holding onto my waist tightly.

"What do you want?" He asked as I struggled to escape from him if it was a bad idea to come here. What did he think he was doing?

"Mr. Bennett, let me go," I said, and he shook his head in denial as he glared at my face.

"The faster you talk, then the faster you can leave," he answered, and I had forgotten the reason I came here.

How could I remember when I was in an uncomfortable position and then he brought his lips closer to my neck? I could feel the warmth from his breath on my neck; he was closer than I thought.

"I came to thank you," I blurted when I remembered my reason for coming here: I needed to get out of this place as soon as possible.

He then glared at me. "For?" he asked as he brought his hand close to my face and his finger traced down my cheeks. I breathed heavily and bit my lip.

"For...for helping my dad," I struggled with my words as I couldn't bear another minute close to him.

"Hmm," he said, using his finger to trace my lips. Then he placed his hand behind my head as he pulled my face closer to his.

"Mr. Bennett… What…what are you doing?" I stuttered as I could feel our lips come closer. I used all my force to stand up and push him away from me.

Finally, I was freed from his grip. I breathed heavily and hurried to the door, then I turned towards him. "My father wants us to visit him tomorrow, but I know you must be busy, so I will let him know," I said, and I ran out of his room when I noticed the smile on his face.

This was awkward. I ran into my bedroom and closed the door tightly as I glared at myself in the mirror.

My face was red and warm, and I touched my lips, wondering what would have happened if I hadn't escaped.

Why was I even thinking about that? Mr. Bennett was messing with my mind, and I knew that.
