Olivia's POV:
I walked back to Orlene's ward. Mr. Bennett stood in front and was having a conversation with his dad. "Olivia," he called, and I glared at him nervously.
"Orlene is being attended to by the nurses; let's go," Mr. Bennett said, and I nodded. We both walked to the elevator, and I couldn't pretend like everything was fine.
This was a chance to tell him, but Mr. Adams had pleaded with me not to tell him. "What's wrong?" he asked after noticing my dull look.
"Nothing." I lied again, and he sneered.
"Another lie, huh?" He raised a brow, and I nodded.
"That's true, but I can't tell you the truth," I thought to myself. The elevator stopped, and we both walked to the parking lot and got into his car when he drove away.
"So where am I dropping you off?" he asked, and I glared at him, confused.
"Your grandma..." he reminded me, and I chuckled.
