Chapter 13 : The Finer Things
For the first time in years, Mia is unconditionally happy. Not only has Sabrina completely gotten off her back, but everything with Elon has been going so well.
He makes time for her every day, though they do make it a game to guess if Mia can guess what office he spends his time in that day. Nine times out of ten she guesses it right on the first try, and it shocks Elon every single time.
They pick back up with their book club, trading off after each book. Mia loves every single book that Elon brings, and Elon makes a big show of despising every book Mia chooses. Yet, he always reads them all the way through and brings commentary that leaves her in stitches.
The sex is…indescribable. Mia’s never been with someone that she’s this compatible with before, it feels almost too good to believe.
