College Talk, Pecking Lips

Vivian pushed the bile in her throat into her belly and forced her teeth before speaking. "Darren how could you forget about the party. You should've called me you won't come so...,"

"... It was you who made a fool of yourself, what's my business if you were mocked by the industry and media," Darren fired back before she could say it. He had seen the news this morning when he left for his room.

Vivian stood there, mouth agape. She stared at Darren in disbelief. 'Did he just snapped at her because of a teenage girl?'

"You've changed Darren. Because of a little girls you're treating me coldly, huh? Okay don't worry," Vivian said bitterly.

Darren watch her leave the house in a sour mood. He started knowing of Vivian's feelings for him when they were in college. Ever since, he had been avoiding her without causing a clash but after his mother's arrangements, she changed drastically. No matter close they may be he only sees her as a sister.

Elena watch in quiet and was about to go back to her room when Darren held her wrist and they both head towards the entrance.

"Don't be scared, she'd calm down," Darren didn't want her good mood to be spoiled by Vivian's morning display.

Elena didn't agree with Darren because she knew this Vivian wasn't a good person.

Inside the car, Elena's head was resting on Darren's shoulder. Darren was busy with his phone while she peeked few times.

Darren felt Elena moved her head, when he raised his eyes to look at her he saw she was looking at the crowded building. The traffic came to a hold as students crossed the road with the help of traffic warden

Elena eyes shone brightly as she stared at the flocks of students who were trotting into the school compound. She often see some of them in the morning when she was living on the streets. Her palms on the Window clenched, she never had the chance to be like others.

He knew what she was thinking and when she clenched her hands Darren felt sad for her.

Elena blinked back the tears that threatened to fall from her moist eyes and lean back on the seat.

"Are you okay?" Darren was worried and didn't want her to do anything rash.

Elena forced a smile and nod her head before looking back to the window.

Darren dropped his phone and pulled her to his body, patting her hair. "You can still attend school but it would be a college, you had passed the stage of highschool. Would you mind attending one?" Darren was being reasonable.

Elena shook her head and picked her whiteboard from the copilot seat.

[No. I don't need it anymore, I have passed the stage for both. Thank you for your concern]

When Darren was done reading it, he felt distant from her which he didn't like. Elena's decision cannot be changed so easily and enrolling her in college would do him a favour of making her stay.

"How about this, Do you like the mansion we live in?" Darren asked Elena.

Elena creased her brows and nodded.

"How about the bodyguards, food, good things, respect. If you go to school you will have them. After graduating from college, you seek a job, start your own living and then family," he was trying to persuade her.

Nick who was driving the car couldn't help but nod in agreement to what Darren said.

"Ms Elena it's true. If people finds out you never attended school, they'd laugh at you," Nick chimed in.

Darren shot him a cold glare, nevertheless, it was true.

Contemplating for sometime, Elena slowly nodded. If she starts college she wouldn't be able to see Darren as always but it was also good because she didn't want to depend on him forever.

Darren smiled and cuddled her in his arms. She was the most innocent girl he had seen since he was a boy. Never will he believe that he's fall in love with a girl who couldn't speak.

It all started with his extremely care for her and now became possessive over her. Sending her to college would be the best choice to make new friends of her age and becomes strong.

The car made a turn into a large building. Elena was awestruck by what she was seeing, even the top of the building was no where possible for her to see. There was a written word 'MAPLE INC'

Darren smiled in satisfaction as he watch her trying to look up.

"Elena...," he called her. Elena shifted towards him and lifted her eyes to look at him because she was shorter.

Darren couldn't help drowning in those beautiful black eyes of hers. "I'm going in so be a good girl okay?"

Nodding her head vigorously she was about to return back to staring at the building when Darren pulled her with his strong arms and his cold lips fell on hers for a peck.

Elena smiled brightly as she embrace him. Parting with him makes her empty but she had to let go of him.

Darren felt the urge to devour her tasty lips and lean closer on her.

Nick blush when he saw his boss was about to kiss Elena so interrupted the romantic moment.

Clears throat!

"Boss...,"

Elena was waiting for his kiss when Nick opened his mouth to speak. She blush heavily and pushed Darren a little.

She was somehow disappointed she missed the kiss.

"Take her home safely, no more complaint from the butler else...," Darren threatened the young bodyguard and passed a fat meaty bunny to Elena.

Her eyes widen in surprise. She didn't know there was a rabbit in the car. Actually Darren was supposed to give it to her last night but he forgot after tasting those cherry lips.

"This's yours. The other is for Vivian. Now how do you wish me a good bye?" Darren asked shamelessly. He was getting bold like before he met Elena.

Nick rolled his eyes and got into the driver's seat.

Elena stared at Darren with dreaming eyes. She leaned and planted a kiss on his cheeks.

Darren smiled and shut the door not before wishing her bye. He felt on top the world.
