Journey to the center of the earth

So we jumped down the hole so that the devil couldn't get us. We landed on a stone floor that was quite hot, there was a path that led to some stairs that went down so we just went, it got hotter and hotter every minute.

We ended up getting really hot so we took our shirts off, I was surprised to see a big scar on his chest so I asked him "What is that on your chest" he said that the devil had scratched him and he was bleeding and he thought he was going to die in that moment.
