FLIGHT 006 - INCHOU, ONEE-CHAN, ANEKI

"Similar to last week's lesson on Capital North Airlines Flight 255, our lesson for tomorrow will be about Fibernia Air Flight 5022. I hope you have memorized the takeoff checklist for an MD-82 as we will be dealing with one, again."

The atmosphere inside the classroom feels lighter than normal. The students were smiling, Andy is energetic, and everyone had fun with today's lesson.

"Well, that's all for today. See you later, Delta!"

The girls immediately replied with the usual "Thanks and see you, Sir Andy!"

Before he could even step out of the room, a group of girls approached him with questions regarding their lesson. The girls crowding around him caught the attention of the class president.

"Oyy, don't bother him so much? One by one!" she reminded.

To which the girls replied with, "HAIII, Sayuri-san!"

"You're doing your part," Karen told the class president.

"Well, it's the least I could do.

After putting their teacher's name in shame, Sayuri became determined to correct her mistake.

"Although I should say, Sayuri-san," Ayaka approached the two, "maybe your hatred for boys is a bit too much! I mean not all boys are bad. Just like Sir Andy, or Sir Mark, or Sir Michael, they're all kind."

"Maybe, but you can never be too sure, Ayaka. You can never be sure."

Sir Andy had already left the room and is staying inside the faculty room. The rumors were still prevalent on campus, but the severity has lessened, and 1 - D's view of their adviser has changed.

Yesterday, Monday, Sayuri-san decided to address the problem within the classroom.

"1 - D, I have an announcement to make!" she stood in front of the class during their morning homeroom time.

"I would like to apologize to everyone, I would like to clear up something. Sir Andy isn't a flirt, he isn't a pervert! I would like to apologize to all of you for creating a big misunderstanding and causing horrible rumors about our teacher to spread."

She told them about their conversation with the headteacher last Friday. Although the class doubted her at first, she explained to them that he trusts the headteacher's words and Andy's actions.

The class was also surprised to hear of the headteacher's sibling relationship with their class adviser.

With the misunderstanding cleared up, she asked for the girls' help and cooperation.

"Please, if you could please spread rumors that Sir Andy is a kind teacher, he has utter respect for all the girls and is not a perverted or flirty teacher. I need everyone's help. Please, I beg you all, I want to correct my mistake, so please -"

"We'll help you out, Prez!" the class groper, Erika, stood up.

"If the president says so, then we believe in her. We'll do it!" Kato spoke out with confidence.

"Me too!" smiled Kare, "I'll do anything that Prez asks me to."

"I'll help out too!" Ayaka stood up with devotion in her words.

A surge of astonishment overwhelmed Sayuri, "You guys?"

"Yeah, we'll help out too!"

"So, will I!"

"I'm joining too!"

Convinced by her words and with confidence in their class president, everyone expressed their willingness to help out Sayuri.

"Minna (Everyone)?" tears were about to fall of her eyes, but she took a deep breath and with calmed down.

"Thank you, everyone, let's help out our adviser!"

With everyone's support, Sayuri announced her plan on how to deal with the rumors,

"Everyone, we will spread rumors that Sir Andy is actually a kind teacher. Hopefully, it removes the negative view of the students and teacher towards our class adviser. That way everything will be back to normal."

To improve her classmates' morale, she clenched her fist and threw it in the air, shouting, "Let's do it, everyone, for Sir Andy!"

"FOR SIR ANDYYY!"

Everyone was determined to repair their class adviser's reputation … well, almost everyone.

"So, the rumors weren't enough. Fine then, I'll make your life even more miserable!"

Inside the bustling faculty, the horrible rumors about Andy were still the talk of town. But even so, Andy isn't concerned, it would eventually die down. Right now, he has more pressing matters to attend to.

"Hey, Mark-nii, wanna eat lunch together."

"That's what you're worried about?" Mark sighed with disbelief, "You have rumors to worry and a class to prepare for, yet you're more worried about us eating together."

"I'm just saying."

"Give the boy a rest, Mark!" Michael retorted, "he needs one, it's been a whole week of suffering for him."

"Michael-niisan is right."

"Childish as ever," Mark whispered to himself. "Fine, that's actually a good idea. I'll go get my -"

"Cool, I'mma tell aneki too," he stood up and hurriedly left his area without hearing the rest of Mark's reply."

"That's Andy for you."

"Pipe down, Michael."

"What were you trying to say, Mark?"

"I was about to tell him that I'm going to ask my girlfriend to come along so that I can introduce her to him."

"Yeahh, good idea, he'll love that!"

Andy just arrived in front of the headteacher's office. Without a single cell of hesitation in his blood, he let himself in and called, "Anekiiii!"

"What is it, Andy?" Aneko replied.

She was too busy checking test papers that she didn't even raise her head to look at his brother.

"Mark-nii, Michael-nii and I will have lunch together, wanna join, Aneki?"

She rested her back and laid her pen on the desk, she gave her brother a relaxed smile

"Yeah, sure. It's been a while since the four of us had lunch together, especially with the rumors and all."

"Awesome! I'll pick you up at 12:30, good luck with your work, Aneki."

He left the headteacher's office looking chipper and excited.

"Always doing things at his own pace, that brother of mine."

He arrived at the faculty just as break time ended. Although there were fewer teachers inside, since plenty have their classes ongoing, the atmosphere in the faculty still felt hectic and heavy. Stress continued to build up. It wasn't really a good place to sit back and relax while waiting for time to pass.

Andy took a book and notebook from his bag and immediately left the faculty room, not wanting to stay inside a stressful environment.

He went a floor down, passed the Main Building, then turned right to the East Wing, making his way to the library.

The library was empty, no one but the old librarian is inside. The air inside is cooler than usual, the cold and quiet atmosphere made Andy yawn.

"HAUU! Maybe this place is too relaxing."

He took the seat beside the window, and admired the city view outside.

With his book laid on the table, he flipped through the pages and began reading. Taking in every word he reads, he immersed himself in his book and let the relaxing atmosphere take him to his fantasies.

Time passed, engrossed with his reading, Andy's mind began flying off to another dimension. The loud "RIIIINGG!" of the school bell snapped the Aviation Teacher back to reality

He stepped outside of the, made his way to the faculty, grabbed his lunch, went to the headteacher's office to call his sister, then to the cafeteria to have lunch with their friends.

"Andy! Aneko! Kotchi (Over here)!" Michael raised his hands raised and called the siblings.

The cafeteria wasn't crowded yet, there were only a few students so it was easy to spot the Michael. They walked towards the Science teacher who didn't bother to fix his hair, and sat across him.

"Where's Mark-nii?"

"I'm here!" Mark arrived with a female teacher alongside.

To Andy, the lady looked very familiar

"Ahh, Yui-neechan!"

English teacher, Yui Midorikawa, stood beside Mark, with her elbow leaning on the Math teacher's shoulder, "Hi Andy, Michael, and Aneko-san too!"

"Yooo, Yui-san!" Michael loudly greeted.

"Nice to see you!" Aneko politely waved her hand.

Curious as to English teacher's presence, Andy asked with a puzzled look, "Mark-nii, why'd you bring Yui-neechan along?"

"Well, isn't that obvious? Yui wa watashi no kanojodesu (Yui is my girlfriend)."

"Ehhhhh? Yui-neechan? Mark-nii?"

His jaw dropped like a rock after hearing the unexpected revelation.

"AHAHAHA, sorry Andy. I forgot, I didn't tell you that," chuckled Yui, "Well, then allow me to reintroduce myself."

She extended her arm towards, "Midorikawa Yui, 1st Year English teacher, and Mark's girlfriend. Nice to meet you, Andy."

"Yeah, nice to meet you too, Yui-neechan," his hands trembled as he nervously shook hands with the English teacher.

A drop of sweat dropped from his head which Mark immediately noticed.

"Ohh right, Andy's not used to contact with girls,".

The couple sat beside Michael, barely squeezing the already fit but skinny Science teacher. Andy then noticed something weird about his friend.

"Mark!" he called, then pointed at his unusually messy hair.

"Oh that," noticed Mark, "I'll fix it later, Yui messes it up when she feels like it."

Now that everyone's in the cafeteria and settled, the 5 teachers brought out their lunches, said "Itadakimasu (Thanks for the food)!" and began digging in.

"Hmm, yummy!" Andy complimented, barely chewing his food before swallowing.

"Andy, be careful, don't just wolf down on your food," his sister reminded.

"I'm surprised you're still fit!" Michael teased, "With the way you're eating you should gain a bit more weight."

"It's his fast metabolism. He barely does any exercise but he's body's fit and skinny."

"Hey, don't say that Aneki! I do exercise on weekends"

"That's true, Andy wasn't the sporty type," recalled Mark, "Even during your high school days you'll come to me and say 'Mark-nii, I hate sports.' You complain every time."

"Really? Is that true, Andy?" asked Yui.

"No, it's not -" he covered his blushing face and looked away.

"See now, Andy's getting all embarrassed. Isn't he cute!"

"Michael-nii, yamete (stop it)!"

"Noopee, your face is all red now!"

The four teachers can't help but laugh upon seeing Andy's beet-red face as he struggled to hide his embarrassed expression. It was a rare sight to see, a cute yet funny expression of the otherwise calm and cool Aviation teacher.

"Aneki! Yui-neechan! Mark-nii, Michael-nii, that's enough."

Still chuckling, Aneko tried to comfort his brother, "Come on, seriously you three, stop it now!"

"Aneki?"

"Alright, if Aneko-neesan says so," Michael took a bite of his lunch before grinning at the siblings.

"Don't even think about it, Michael!

"Come on, stop teasing your kouhai like that. He just went through a traumatic experience and now you're giving him another one," Mark told the goofy Science teacher.

"Hai, hai, gomen ne, Andy. Don't mind that joke."

He took a bite of his lunch and replied with a swift, "Fine!"

Trying to tease his brother, Aneko patted his brother's and made a cute and lovable expression.

"Don't worry Andy, you always look cool and cute."

"Thanks, Aneki."

He blushed from his sister's reply, not knowing what to say. He hurriedly took another bite of his lunch, not realizing that there's a grain of rice stuck on his cheek.

"Ohh, Andy, there's rice on your cheek," noticed Aneko.

"Oh, where?"

"Let me get it for you," she placed her arm on Andy's cheeks and got the rice off with her thumb. To everyone's surprised, the elder sister licked the rice off her thumb and swallowed it.

"A-Aneki, why'd you eat it?" Andy asked with a flustered look.

"Come, on it's such a waste," she rubbed Andy's cheek and cheekily smiled, "there, now there's nothing."

The atmosphere between the two became different, Michael had a funny look on his face after seeing the two.

"Hey Mark, those two look way more like a couple than you and Yui"

"I don't want to hear it!"

The math teacher kept his mouth shut to avoid making any insulting remarks in front of the siblings.

"They always act lovey-dovey, don't they, like a couple."

"That's true, they look very close," observed Yui.

Even though Mark tried to hold it in, Michael outright said it anyway with no shame.

Michael's observation was true though. The two were producing such a romantic atmosphere around them, that you'll mistake them for a couple if you don't know they're siblings.

"Are they really just siblings?" Mark wondered.

The five teachers continued eating their lunches, happily chatting around, and telling stories about their past experiences with each other. At one point, the conversation took a turn to Andy's favor.

"So, Andy-kun, I heard you're a pilot in training?" asked Yui.

"Hm-mm, that's right!" he energetically replied, "I've been into Aviation since I was in high school!"

"Seeing your drawings on 1 - D's board reminds me of the drawings of planes and plane crashes you use to make back in high school. Those sketches look great" commended Michael.

"Back then, when we visited Aneko-neesan at your home, you never let us change the channel of your TV. You were always watching that documentary about plane crashes," Mark recalled.

"You really love Aviation, don't you?"

"Yup, I sure do."

Admiring Andy's passion, Yui patted his head and smiled.

"If you need any help with your students, don't hesitate to ask Yui-neechan, we'll help you out. Good luck with your classes and training, Andy. Be a great teacher and a great pilot that you would be proud of!"

Andy's face reddened again, not knowing whether to feel embarrassed or happy. He tried to speak up, but his embarrassment tied up his tongue. He tried to hide his expression, but it was already evident in his face.

"Hey, Mark, are you seeing this, Andy's all red again."

"Come on, don't tell me you've fallen for my girlfriend?"

"Ehh, n-no, I don't!"

"Really, but you're blushing. Mark, look, Andy's blushing!"

"Urusai (Shut up), Michael-nii!"

He looked at his sister, looking for a way to get him out of the situation. But instead, Aneko just grinned, while the other teachers burst into laughter after seeing Andy's cute expression once again.

The noise they were making caught the students' attention. The girls weren't particularly happy with the group especially since the rumored Sir Andy is with them. The Aviation teacher noticed the disgusted stares and piercing gazes, but paid no heed, he was too busy being laughed at by his co-teachers.

They continued their lunch break until it was almost time for their classes. They five teacher returned to the faculty room together and prepared their materials for their next class.

Once the 1 PM bell rang, Aneko, Michael, Mark, and Yui all went to their respective classes while Andy stayed inside the faculty before his ICT class with 1 - D.

Classes progressed until 4 PM, then homeroom until 4:20 PM. Tired, exhausted, and with no one left inside the classroom, he locked the classroom door, returned in the faculty, and left the school.

A gust of wind blew by. Andy was walking past the school gate when something caught his ear. He heard a loud whistling sound coming from a distance. The sound got closer and louder, he looked up to see a large plane pass by. It was climbing through the clouds, as evidence from the retracted landing gear and flaps.

"AHHH, an A320!" a voice from behind cried out in fascination.

Normally, this reaction would be ignored by other people, but to Andy it sounded unusual. He spun around to look at the person who managed to identify the plane they saw. It was a blonde-haired girl wearing her school uniform.

"Ayaka-san?"

"Ohh, Sir Andy?" the girl called in surprise, "What are you doing here?"

"Ohh, I'm about to go home. I heard the sound of a plane and I can't help but look at it."

"It looks beautiful, doesn't it?"

"Yeah, it does." The plane's silhouette slowly disappeared, it faded into the bright sunset in front of his eyes.

"Wow, the sunset, looks beautiful today doesn't it, Sir Andy?"

His student stood beside him, the orange glow of the sunset complimented Ayaka's blonde hair. Her wonderful smile shone brighter than usual. Seeing this, Andy felt something he least expected.

His heart skipped a beat, his face began to crimson, and he began sweating. Fighting off this feeling, he shook his head left and right and admired the sunset,.

"It looks beautiful, especially today, Ayaka-san."

He carefully patted Ayaka's head and smiled.

"Alright, take care on your way home!" and he began walking away.

Before he could leave, Ayaka immediately called out to her adviser.

"Sir Andy! Take care!"

She cheerfully waved her hand and smiled brightly. As he walked away from the school, Andy felt something that he hasn't felt in a long time. He tried to clear his mind of what just happened, but he couldn't forget the beautiful scenery in front of him.

"This is gonna be problematic!"
