Masterpiece

Our day today is just like any other normal day. I listened to our professor and take notes so I can review properly whenever there are tests. After this tiresome day, I went to my favorite spot - the garden. I stay here for a while before going home to ease my headaches and my tired mind and body. As usual, I put my earphones on and play something.

I felt a soft tap on my shoulder. But I thought it was nothing, not until I felt a soft tap on my shoulder again. I opened my eyes just to see Jimin-hyung smiling at me with his face a few inches away from me. I was so shocked that I stayed there like a stone staring at Jimin-hyung's eyes.

My face felt so hot as we stared at each other's eyes. None of us moved and just stared at each other like a lost wolf wandering a wide and big forest. It was like I've been captivated by his glistening eyes that surpasses even the galaxy itself. I was drowning so into it like I was in a deep sea falling down deeper every second that passes by. After a few minutes of staring deep into each other's eyes, Jimin-hyung snapped and moved away from our little distance awhile ago. I removed my earphone and held it looking at Jimin-hyung.

"Um, I'm sorry Jungkook, I-I was just-"

I cut him off by saying that it's okay. I was so into it that I didn't know I'm not moving away so we were both at fault.

"Um, we're going to hang out later and watch a movie. Wanna come?"

"Uh sure Jimin-hyung, I don't have classes anymore so I'm free like a bird"

He laughed at my silly joke and I smiled slightly and laugh a little. His laugh is contageous and it makes me feel lighter. I stared at his glowing face from the sun's light hitting it directly. His closed eyes when he's laughing and his plump lips wide open letting his white teeth show. He looks so ethereal.

After a few seconds of laughing, he slowly stopped and smile while panting from lack of air.

"So, should we go now?", he asked not removing the smile on his face. I nodded at him and stood up picking my things. I went to his side and we walked away.

"Where are the other hyungs?", why is it just the two of us? Thought I'm not complaining, I'm happy when I'm with Jimin-hyung.

"Well, Tae and Hobi-hyung decided to go there first to buy tickets for the six of us and I guess he picked the 6:45 time since it's already almost 6? While Yoongi-hyung and Namjoon-hyung will go there after their class is done"

I nodded at him and put my earphones in my bag. We walked silently with awkward air between us. I don't know what to say, I'm still kinda shy because I'm new to this.

"So Jungkook-ah, what type of movies do you like?"

I sighed when Jimin-hyung talked. Walking silently is suffocating me.

"Um, I actually like horror and mystery type of movies. How about you hyung?"

Well I really like those kinds of movies than anything. Though I like watching any kinds of movies, it's just that, horror and mystery give me the thrills.

"I like romantic movies and drama. I'm really not into horror because I'm a scaredy cat", he said while shrugging his shoulder, displaying a shy smile and scratching the back of his head. He's cute.

What?!

What am I even saying??

"Look there's a cab, come on! Faster Gguk!"

He held my hand, grabbed me and ran to the cab. His hand is very soft and warm. It's like I don't want to remove my hand from his. He's holding my hand but he didn't cover it all, his hand's so small that I bet it perfectly fits to mine. And...

Gguk?

I smiled at what he just called me. He's the only one who called me that. People usually call me by my first name or Kookie and Kook-ah but no one called me Gguk.

We went inside the cab and Jimin-hyung told the driver where we are going. He's still holding my hand and I bet he forgot. I don't want him to remember though. I want his warmth covering my hand.

"Gguk?" I asked him. He looked surprised for a second but immediately composed himself.

"Uh, um, sorry Jungkook, it just came out of my mouth", he did it again. Smiling shyly while scratching the back of his head. I smiled and stared at him for a while.

"I like it hyung"

His cheeks becoming rosy red as I said those words. Is he.... blushing?

We stayed silent almost all of the time in the cab and he only removed his hand on mine when we're almost at our destination.

Jimin-hyung paid the cab since he's the 'older one', as he said. We went inside the mall and saw Namjoon-hyung and Yoongi-hyung went out of a boutique. Did they bought something? Namjoon-hyung's holding a paperbag. I wonder to whom is it to?

"Hey Namjoon-hyung! Yoongi-hyung!", Jimin-hyung shouted and made the other hyungs look at us. They waved their hands and Namjoon-hyung gestured us to go there which we immediately obeyed.

We went to the movie area and saw Hoseok-hyung and Taehyung-hyung there waiting at us. We immediately went inside the theater hall as it's almost time. We are seated at the back most seats because we want to see the whole screen without hurting our eyes.

Our arrangement is:

Me - Jimin - Hoseok - Namjoon - Taehyung - Yoongi

I was at the end of the row and it's fine with me since I don't like to be in the middle. I don't want narrow places.

Hoseok-hyung already bought our 3 popcorns and drinks and let us share them. So Yoongi-hyung is sharing snacks with Taehyung-hyung, Hoseok-hyung and Namjoon-hyung are sharing and Jimin-hyung and I.

The movie they chose is a romantic movie since it's what the majority of us or them wants.

We watched silently until there's a sad scene playing. I heard a few sobs and lookee where it came from only to see Jimin-hyung crying.

I looked at his face and it's always so beautiful to see. Like it's a masterpiece everyone wants. I looked back at the screen and continued watching. I felt the need to eat something so I moved my hand to get the popcorn in between us without removing my sight at the screen infront of him. As I reached the edge of the popcorn's container, my hand touched Jimin-hyung's. We both were shocked and looked at each other. I felt my cheeks getting hot and saw Jimin-hyung blushing too. I let him get some popcorn first before me.

After a few minutes, it just happened again but we didn't bother to look at each other anymore. We're putting our guards up and feel each other. Whenever the back of my hand touches his, I felt electricity coming from that touch flow through my body.

The movie ended well as well as my heart that beats so fast when I'm close to Jimin-hyung. I don't know what I'm feeling. This is all new to me. Is it because of the start of our friendship? I really don't know.

We hailed two taxi and split our group into two. Namjoon-hyung, Yoongi-hyung and Hoseok-hyung are in the same cab while Jimin-hyung and Taehyung-hyung are with me in the second cab. I sat in the passenger seat while the two of them are at the back. I steal some glances to them from time to time and saw them talking without each other but only they can hear it. There's a time when I saw Jimin-hyung blushed and Taehyung-hyung giggled. I wonder what they are talking about?

After a few minutes, we get out of the cab and we are now standing infront of their house. I wonder what it looks like inside. But I guess I'm still new that I can't go in there now.

I bid goodbye and started to walk to my house which is only a block away. Jimin-hyung volunteered to walk me home because they are worried about me but I reassured them that I'll be alright. It's just a block away anyways and I'm kinda strong. I mean, I studied taekwando and I go to gym three times a week.

I walked a few steps away when someone clung into my arms. I looked at the person and saw Jimin-hyung smiling at me.

"Hyung, I told you I'm alright"

He put some distance between us but still walked by my side.

"Shush! I can't help but worried okay? So either you let me take you home or spend the night here in the middle of the street bickering with me."

I just let out a sigh and walked again. It's not that I don't want him with me, I don't know but I really wanna be with him. However, the reason why I don't like it is because I am worried for him. It's too dark now and he might encounter someone when he walk going back to their house.

We arrived infront of my house. I turned around to him and saw him wandering his eyes to our house.

"Uh Jimin-hyung, this is my house, I told you it's not that far"

"Nah it's fine Jungkook"

He smiled at me and I returned his smile.

"--- --- --- go in ---"

He murmured something but I can't hear it. What is he saying?

"Uh what hyung?"

He smiled at me and waved his hand as he walk away going to their house's direction.

"Take care hyung!"

I half shouted at him and he looked back at me smiling.

Gosh his smile always hits me right at my heart.

I entered my house and walked directly to my room. This day is another good day. I get to spend it with my new friends especially Jimin-hyung. I don't really get it right now but I think he holds a special place in my heart. I just can't depict it properly. I slowly fell asleep thinking about Jimin-hyung.
