Chapter fifty-six
Sabel fluttered her eyes open as the warm rays of sunshine from outside reflected into the room. She groaned in distortions and picked up the pillow beside her and covered her ears. She wondered where the disturbing sound was coming from.
She removed the pillow and looked beside the bedstand and sighed. She wondered who kept the alarm beside her bedstand because she was sure that, there was no alarm clock beside her bed before she slept off yesterday night. She wondered if it was kept when she was asleep.
" So, irritating," she murmured under her breath before picking up her phone to check the time.
She pressed the phone and it was then she remembered the phone was turned off.
She sighed and pressed the side button, and within seconds the phone was on. She looked at it only to recognize that she has many messages and voicemails.
