Lukas had finished having his tea with Erik. After that serious conversation he had had with his grandfather, they had only made small talk.
After talking for a few minutes, Erik said that he didn't have anything to talk to him about, and if he didn't want to talk to him about anything else, Lukas could go.
Lukas promptly said that he had nothing else to talk to him about either, and bid farewell to his grandfather before leaving.
Still, however, Lukas had a bad feeling about this conversation. It was as if something hadn't gone the way he wanted. And he knew very well what it was.
Lukas didn't think he had done well when he was talking to Erik about his relationship with the king. He suddenly changed his mannerisms when talking to Erik, which was a very obvious sign of anxiety, and a few other things, such as long breaks along his speech, sighs, etc...
