Chapter 69: Hueningkai part I

Hueningkai took a taxi in a rush so he couldn't say the exact address before riding it. After he went inside, he told the driver where he wanted to go. He told the driver about his mother's home where he wanted to go. But after hearing him, the taxi driver was surprised because it was too far from there and he was afraid he wouldn't be able to recognize the way from there.

"Um…..sir! Why didn't you go there by train? I might forget the way because it's been a while since I stopped giving customers a ride that far." He said.

"Uh! I don't know where I am and how I should go there! But I'm in a hurry so can you please give me a ride home? Or the train station would be fine too." Hueningkai wanted the driver to drive the car as soon as possible because he was afraid those people would come for him.

"It's okay, I'll turn the map on and take a different route so there will be no station there. You should just give me the fare I deserve." Saying that he finally started driving the taxi and Hueningkai was relieved. But little did he know that those people who looked like him were chasing after him.

"Dad! Are you sure you should really go after him? You'll scare him again!" Said Lea(the elder sister).

"Hey! Just get into the car if you want to go. Or else, I'll go by myself!" The guy said and got into the car and started the engine.

"Don't worry, I'm going with you anyway." The younger one replied from inside the car as she already took her seat.

"Fine!" Lea also went inside and they finally started to follow Hueningkai.

[After one and half hours]

"Oh my gosh! Just how far from he came? It's been two hours since dad is driving!" Lea said because she was a little surprised and tired from waiting too.

"Dad! Are you sure it's really him? And we're getting so far from home. So, shouldn't we inform mom first?" Bahiyyih(the younger daughter) said.

"Hey! You guys haven't called your mom yet?" He suddenly stopped driving and shouted.

"Um…. we're afraid we'll disturb her sleep." Both of them answered with a guiltful face.

"Call the maid right now and ask if she's awake. And tell her to take care of her until we get home!" He said in a loud voice while driving.

"And yes, give it a look." Saying that the guy threw a piece of paper on the sisters. Bahiyyih caught it and when she looked at it, she was astounded. Seeing her expressions, Lea also took a look into the paper and she was surprised too.

After driving for two hours, they finally stopped because Hueningkai had reached his destination. He got out of the car and paid the taxi fare. Since the car following Hyuka was a bit far, he didn't notice and went inside his home. He wanted to shout mentioning to his mother that he got home. But at that time, he heard a very familiar voice. He knew whose voice it was. He gulped as he was feeling guilty and also scared. He dared not go in front of Yeonjun.

What was he doing there? Hyuka thought in fear. He stood behind the wall where his mom and Yeonjun were talking with each other. Neither of them noticed that someone came into the house as Hueningkai was noiseless enough. And when he heard they were talking about him, he got curious so he didn't want to go and interrupt their conversation. Moreover, he was afraid, if he went inside then, they'd stop talking and he'd never know what was going on there and what they were talking about.

"A-are you t-telling the truth, mom? Hyuka! He's really not?" Yeonjun asked as if he was astonished by knowing something.

"Yes, and I wanted to tell you guys before but I didn't know how I should tell you guys. I think Hueningkai should also know about it. But I'm afraid he'll be disappointed and I don't want to break his heart, you know. And I really raised him as my own son." She said. Hearing that, Hueningkai was shocked though he couldn't understand what his mother was saying. Still, it wasn't so easy to hear the words.

"C-can you tell me from the beginning?" Yeonjun asked, being curious and surprised.

"When you were three years old, you became very sick. And we had to admit you to the hospital. There, I saw a lady who was in labor pain. There was nobody beside her along with her family. She became very sick right after giving birth to our Kai. The hospital authority also didn't want to treat her because she didn't have any money with her. I took pity on her and looked after the child as well as her. When you were being discharged, your father and I brought her home to treat her. I noticed she was always in deep thoughts. She was taciturn so she never told me where she was from and why she was all alone. I tried to ask her but she never answered me with her personal information.

One day I went to your aunt's house with you and Kai. I asked her to come with us too. But she didn't want to, so I took Kai with us too. But when we returned home, she was no longer in the house. I searched for her everywhere. But I couldn't find her at all. Since then, I accepted Hueningkai as my own son. I thought she was a noble lady who was secretly in love with someone and her family wouldn't accept them. However, I never saw her anywhere. Your dad also tried to find her but couldn't." She stopped talking as she needed some air.

"Mom! You guys are amazing! He's not even your child. Then why did you take care of him so much? And moreover, you guys love him more than me!" Yeonjun acted sulky since he was relieved by hearing that Hueningkai wasn't his blood brother. He didn't know if he should be happy about it but he was really happy after hearing that.

"So, Yeonjun hyung was acting like this because he was jealous of me?" Hueningkai gasped as he realized the cause behind Yeonjun's angry behavior towards him. He thought maybe Yeonjun wanted all of his parents' love by himself. But he butted in and took a share of their love. Moreover, they really treat him better than Yeonjun. And that might be the reason that Yeonjun was sick of him. Suddenly, he felt very disappointed and sad. He felt like he didn't deserve all the things his foster parents did for him. And he was really curious who his original parents were and why did his mother abandon him? He was really heartbroken and right at that moment, he didn't want to face neither his mother nor Yeonjun. He silently walked away from there but when he went to the door, he saw the siblings and their father who has the same face as him, in front of the door. He gasped again but this time, his gasping sound was a little loud. So, Everyone inside and outside the door heard him. Yeonjun and his mother rushed over there but stood still like statues since they were seeing four Hueningkai standing in front of them.
