Chapter 55: Am I that naive?

Beomgyu felt really upset when he noticed Soobin didn't even check his text. He sighed and went upstairs. If someone saw him right then, they'd think of him as a big puppy whose ears were drooped in disappointment. He went upstairs again and walked towards his room. When he was passing in front of the other room, only then did he notice Kai, who was sitting on the bed with a very melancholic face. He thought maybe Kai was traumatized after what happened to him. So, he forgot about himself and went inside the room to console the boy.

"Oh! Huening-ah! When did you wake up?" Beomgyu asked and entered the room. Seeing Beomgyu, Kai forced himself to smile but failed and replied, "A while ago."

"Are you feeling better now?" Beomgyu came closer to him and sat on the bed.

"Um." Kai replied while nodding his head.

"Why are you looking so gloomy? It's okay. We caught him and he's in the police station right now. We told the police to make sure that he'd get hard punishment. And if you aren't satisfied with it, then tell me. I happen to know some of the police officers. So, I'll tell them to make an opportunity to let you go in the locker room so that you can beat him with all of your anger. Okay?" Beomgyu said without giving another thought so that it could help Kai to lighten his mood.

"Hyung! That's not the case!" Kai was trying to say something but he couldn't bring it up because Beomgyu kept talking on his own and didn't give a chance to the poor boy to talk.

"That's not? Ah! I got it! You don't know how to beat someone up! Don't worry! This hyung will teach you!" Beomgyu patted his own chest bravely as if he was too good at fighting and it was a matter of pride for him.

"Beomgyu hyung! L-listen....." Hueningkai was trying to stop him but alas! He couldn't.

"Then? Do you want me to take revenge for you? Don't worry! Then, I'll take care of him!" Beomgyu closed his eyes and opened as if he just got out of an action comic and he was ready to fight with the villain. He opened his eyes and smirked like he knew he would definitely win no matter how strong his opponent was.

"Hyung! Would you please let me talk?" Kai begged Beomgyu to stop.

"Hm? Do you want something else?" Beomgyu was a little curious so he stopped running his mouth. In reply, Hueningkai sighed and looked at him with his pitiful eyes.

"I..... don't remember what happened so...I can't get..... what you're talking about or...whom you're talking about." He looked another way with a very disappointed look. Hearing him, Beomgyu was so astonished that he forgot to speak for a while. Just how much did he get drugged that his mind was completely blank about whom he went with. He felt really bad for the boy but couldn't tell him anything nor could console him. But after a while he thought maybe it'd be best for him. If he can't remember anything that means he can't remember how much he suffered either. When he thought about it, he felt relieved.

"Really? It's okay. Sometimes it happens to me too! When I drank too much. You know, my mind also went blank and I also can't tell what I did after drinking. Hahaha! So, don't think about it too much! Everything has a good side! So, I think it's good for you!" Beomgyu acted cheerful to console Hueningkai and patted his back gently.

"B-but....." Kai was still unhappy because of Yeonjun and he couldn't bring that up to Beomgyu though he thought he should share what happened earlier to Beomgyu.

"Don't worry, hm? Don't you have all of us? You can come to us anytime if you need anything, okay? Don't try to solve everything on your own." Beomgyu said with a very beautiful smile but it couldn't help Kai. All he was thinking about was what Yeonjun said to him a while ago.

"I can't keep you with me anymore!" this line was ringing in his ear continuously, like someone was reciting a poem in his ear by saying those words. So, he couldn't keep his cool face anymore and started shedding tears.

"Hey! What happened? Tell me! I'll help you, okay? Did you do something wrong? Or did anyone tell you something? Did you regain your memories?" Beomgyu was trying too hard to help his little brother out of pity.

"Hyung! Do you think I'm useless?" He asked while wiping his cheeks.

"Hey! Who said so? NO! You're not!" Beomgyu was a little surprised by the sudden question.

"Then, why? Why do you guys have to accompany me everywhere? Why can't I do anything on my own? Why am I so naive? Why do you think I need to be taken care of like a child? You are just a year older than me but you also treat me like a child. Tell me, Is it because I am too stupid?" Kai was a little loud because of his broken voice.

"Why do you think so? Of course, you're not stupid? We want to protect you because you're precious to us! You can't compare yourself to any of us because you are unique. You're not dumb! You're just innocent and this is why you're so loveable that all of us want to protect you from any danger. Got it! Don't think of something like that again or else...." Beomgyu tried his best to cheer his friend up and when he stopped his sentence by smacking gently on Huening's head.

"Then why does Yeonjun hyung want to send me away? Does he hate me that much? Why did he want to send me away?" HyuKa asked with a very disappointed look.

"Eh? Yeonjun said something to you? What did he say?" Beomgyu asked out of curiosity as he was a little surprised too.

"He said he can't live with me anymore. He needed to send me away." Beomgyu replied with his head down.

"He said so?" Beomgyu was shocked by hearing it from HyuKa. He started thinking why Yeonjun said so. Because he knew Yeonjun well and he also knew that he had romantic feelings towards HyuKa. Then, why did he say such harsh words to the boy? He couldn't understand what was going on between these siblings anymore. He sighed and went closer to Kai.

"I'm sure there's some misunderstanding between you two. And you know how hot headed he is! Maybe he just said out of anger. So, don't mind him, okay? I know he didn't mean that. Though he gets angry easily, he is really a decent guy. He cares for you more than anything else. You know what? He was really scared last night. He kept crying and saying it was all his fault. I don't know why he kept saying that but he was really panicked. I think he didn't forget how you were in danger. Since he's blaming himself, Maybe he thought it'd be best if you stay away from him though I know he's wrong. So, I'll make him understand, okay? Just rest assured and believe in this hyung!" Beomgyu gave a big smile while trying to console Kai. But his smile disappeared when he thought how this lovely boy was in danger and if they were a minute late, then maybe he'd already got r*ped. Having this thought made him really uncomfortable and he understood why Yeonjun acted recklessly.

[At Soobin's place]

"Did I tell you to tie his eyes and mouth? Hurry up and untie him!" a guy came into the room where Soobin was kept. He saw the thin boy all tied up and got angry with his men.

"Sorry, sir! But you ordered us to kidnap him and we just tied him up so that he can't escape!" One guy went to the unconscious boy while saying it to his boss.

"Idiots!" he mumbled and took a good look at Soobin. Then he turned to his men and ordered,

"Inform me when he wakes up!" saying that he went out of the room while all of his workers made a way and bowed to say goodbye.

After a while when Soobin woke up, he discovered that he was in a new place and noticed his hands and feet tied up. He noticed there was someone standing outside of the door. He tried to call the guy but it seemed like he couldn't listen to Soobin or he wasn't paying attention to him.

"Who is it? Hey! Who are you? Hey! Are you deaf or something? Listen to me! Untie me, okay? Hello! HEY! YOU B*ST*RD! WHY DID YOU TIE ME HERE? WHAT DO YOU WANT?" Soobin was shouting and trying to untie himself non stop as he was angry but also a little scared because he already sensed who was behind it.
