Chapter 43: I don't need anyone

"Then why didn't you tell me sooner? You knew I kept dreaming about a girl and you knew that the girl wasn't in my dreams but was in my memories. Why did you choose to keep me confused and completely in the dark about it?" Beomgyu asked Namjoon. His voice wasn't clear since he was faltering and his whole body was shaking.

"About that..... Beomgyu! Can you visit my chamber today? I'll free my schedule so that I can make everything clear, Okay?" Namjoon sighed.

"Hm." Beomgyu hung up the call but suddenly he felt like he had been deceived all these years. If it was his origin, then why did both Yoongi and Namjoon hide it from him? Even when he said he had nightmares again and again, why didn't they say that that was his past? Beomgyu took a long breath and lay down on the bed again. His chest was still hurting when he thought about everything. Though some of his memory was still blurry, he could remember where he was from, what he used to do, how he used to spend his life. Even that day, when he was able to flee from the kidnappers and got into an accident, he was a girl. Then why and how did he turn into a boy now?

"It's really confusing!" Beomgyu said to himself.

That evening, Beomgyu went to Namjoon's chamber but he was surprised when he saw Soobin there too.

"What are you doing here?" Beomgyu asked coldly.

"I-I....." Soobin felt so sorry for him that he couldn't reply to Beomgyu.

"I called him." Namjoon came to them and said, Beomgyu glared at Namjoon for a while. Though he was a very cute and fluffy boy, his glare made Namjoon afraid of him too.

"Umm.... c-come inside and h-have a seat." Namjoon said while faking a smile.

"Does he has anything to do?" Beomgyu pointed at Soobin and asked Namjoon. But he didn't even look at Soobin. Namjoon understood what was going on between them. But suddenly he couldn't make up any stories and tell the truth. "Actually, you need someone to take care of your mental health now. Because what I'm going to tell you might be very shocking for you. And I know he's the closest friend so I called him and told him to come." Namjoon replied and pointed inside.

"He doesn't need to go if the reason is just to comfort me. I'm fine by myself." Beomgyu said without looking at Soobin as if there was nobody beside him.

"B-Beomgyu-ah!" Soobin called with a very pitiful voice. But Beomgyu totally ignored the sweet voice and went inside. Soobin also tried to go after him but Beomgyu talked again.

"Hyung! Tell the other person not to follow us. I don't want anyone else to know about me." He said with a very ferocious look that even Namjoon was shocked for a while since he never saw Beomgyu's this angry face. Namjoon looked at Soobin with questionable eyes asking him what he did to offend Beomgyu. But he knew he can't get the answer right then so he gestured Soobin to wait outside as he'll gonna settle the matter with Beomgyu. Soobin was very disappointed but he didn't have another choice but to wait for them outside.

After the two of them went inside, Soobin leaned on the wall as he didn't know what he should do. He thought he'll apologize to Beomgyu for everything and try to tell him everything even if he was gonna despise him. He made up his mind after conflicting with himself for a while. He was confident about how he felt for Beomgyu but he didn't want to make him angry so much. This look was so fierce, so disheartened that Soobin couldn't be handled. But when Beomgyu came outside, it looked like he wasn't himself. Seems like something shattered his heart into pieces and stabbed him again and again. He was looking more terrible but this wasn't his angry face. He was more manly some times ago but after he came outside, he became a tiny, miserable thing that anyone would want to adore and console. But the tiny teddy won't let the giant bunny touch himself so he just ignored the bunny and walked away.

"Beomgyu-ah!" Soobin followed him while calling his name. But it seems like Beomgyu couldn't hear him though he was just avoiding him. But Soobin wasn't a guy who'd accept his defeat so easily. He ran towards Beomgyu and held his hand. But Beomgyu still didn't look at him but stopped walking as if he was just a toy who stopped when its owner touched it. Soobin bent a little to peek at Beomgyu's eyes but he was astonished when he saw the tears which kept dropping from his eyes.

"B-Beomgyu-ah! W-What h-happened?" Soobin got afraid by his crying face and asked.

"I-I n-need some time alone. D-don't follow m-me." Beomgyu replied while looking at the ground.

"It's okay, everything will be okay." Soobin patted Beomgyu's head and then hugged him warmly. The warmth couldn't let Beomgyu stay firm and he started crying hard in Soobin's arms. Soobin kept patting his head though he couldn't say any word as he didn't know what really happened to him. Though he wanted to know so badly he didn't dare to ask it as he knew he'd trigger Beomgyu more by asking something. Soobin walked Beomgyu home though both of them were so quiet that anyone would hear their breathing sound if they walked beside them. Though Soobin really wanted to stay beside him, he remembered he had some things to fix first. So after they came in front of Beomgyu's house, Soobin broke the silence and spoke first.

"Go and take some rest. I have some things to do. I'll come to check on you later." saying that he hugged Beomgyu again and without thinking anything, he kissed the boy's head. Though Beomgyu was in his mental breakdown, he was so surprised by Soobin's sudden action. And when Soobin did the silly thing with a serious face, Beomgyu's heart started pounding. As he didn't want to feel the strange things for the person who doesn't even care to share something with him, he pushed him as soon as he could and went inside without a word.

He went directly to his room though Hyuningkai was standing in his way and tried to talk with him when noticing his miserable face. He locked his room and sat down, leaning on the door. He hid his face between his knees while holding them tightly and started crying again.

On the other hand, Soobin went to Namjoon as he wanted to know what happened to Beomgyu and if Namjoon was the reason behind his sorrow. He needs to know everything so that he can at least avenge the people who made his Beomgyu like this.
