Chapter 39: Clearance of confusion

"Was it my memory? It can't be! But it didn't seem like a dream either! Then what was it? It felt so real! And I wasn't even sleeping that I'd dream now. Then, was it my imagination? Ei! It can't be! How can I imagine such things! I'm not a writer! Argh! I can't even think about it!" Beomgyu was talking with himself while pissed off and he was so into his own thoughts that he didn't notice someone came inside the room.

"How're you doing?" Yeonjun came to him and sat down beside him. Seeing him, Beomgyu also sat down and shook off all of his thoughts.

"You're here! How did you know about me?" Beomgyu smiled.

"Come on! We're housemates. And you didn't come home for three days so obviously I'd search for you." Yeonjun acted cool while smiling at him.

"Ah! I almost forgot, Hahaha! I'm fine now." Beomgyu replied.

"But how did you end up like this? Who hit you and why?" Yeonjun asked as he was curious.

"It's a long story. I'll tell you later but I want to figure something out first so I'm not sure either what really happened." Beomgyu smiled as if he wasn't saying something strange.

"Eh? You're confusing me! So, you don't know who hit you?" Yeonjun shrunk his face as if he was very confused.

"Forget about me, how's your situation now? Did you figure out what you would do?" Beomgyu tried to change the topic so he asked. Yeonjun's shrunk face became speechless and straight. He stared at Beomgyu for a while and it seems like he was a statue kept in front of Beomgyu.

"Hello!" Beomgyu waved his hand in front of Yeonjun's face.

"Ah! I'm sorry," Yeonjun came back to his senses and faked a smile.

"Oh, right! Soobin also didn't come to college for the past few days. And I heard he always stayed at the hospital. So..." Yeonjun was pointing at something while giving a naughty smile.

"Eh? He did?" Beomgyu was so confused now that he thought of it. Because he really thought Soobin wasn't a very decent guy after seeing those dreams. But why'd he stay by his side all day? Beomgyu can't figure out anything and the more he thinks about it, the more it seems suspicious and mysterious to him.

"So...you two are a thing already?" Yeonjun asked while mocking Beomgyu.

"What thing? We're just friends! And isn't it normal that a friend would help in need?" Beomgyu looked away but he blushed when he thought about it.

"Ei! Don't hide! I can see through your eyes that you also like him." Yeonjun said as if he was certain of it.

"No! I don't like him! He's just my... friend..." Beomgyu's voice faded out while saying this.

"Tsk! Admit it already! You're blushing! Um..... okay, answer some of my questions so that I can clear your confusion." Yeonjun acted as if he was the love guru.

"Hm?" Beomgyu looked at him with his questionable eyes and blinked twice as he couldn't understand what Yeonjun was saying.

"What do you think of Soobin? When you close your eyes and think of him, what'd you see?" Yeonjun asked.

"When I close my eyes....." Beomgyu closed his eyes and saw Soobin's cute and beautiful smile.

"He's so adorable that I want to touch him." Beomgyu said while closing his eyes.

"Now take a look at his lips. What about them? Do you wanna touch them too?" Yeonjun asked and Beomgyu followed his advice.

"Hmm." he nodded.

"Wanna do something more than a touch? Maybe kiss them?" Yeonjun got closer and whispered. Beomgyu gulped and suddenly he felt his heart start beating fast as he really wanted to kiss that pair of lips.

"Hey! What kind of question is that! I don't want to!" Beomgyu pushed Yeonjun away but he felt his face was getting hotter.

"Hahaha! You turned into a tomato!" Yeonjun couldn't tease him anymore but to laugh.

"Okay okay, I'll stop teasing you." He bit his tongue and laughed.

"Then tell me, do you want to protect him? Even if it'd cost your own life?" Yeonjun turned serious while questioning him. When Beomgyu heard the question, he was reminiscing about what he did for the past few days.

"Actually, I want to spend more time with him. I want to know more about him. And as for protecting him, yes! I want to protect him at any cost. I don't know why but without him around, I feel like something is missing. I feel very lonely but when he's around, I just want to know what he's thinking, how he spent his life before. I just wonder how I can get close to him so that he can open himself up in front of me." Beomgyu sighed after spitting what was in his mind.

"And..... you're telling me, you don't like him, hm? You silly! You're so into him already! And you can't go back now." Yeonjun poked Beomgyu's forehead while lecturing him.

"Just admit your feelings and try to approach him slowly. But one thing I must warn is don't rush it. Take everything slowly and know more about him. The more you'll know about him, the better it will be." Yeonjun was advising as if he was his elder brother.

"Do you really think I have feelings for him?" Beomgyu asked, being absent minded.

"I don't think but I can clearly see it, stupid!" Yeonjun poked Beomgyu's forehead again.

"How? I've never liked anyone before. Or did I? I really don't know. And I'm so stupid that I can't tell about my own feelings." Beomgyu was talking in his mind. He became quite depressed when he thought about his past. At that time, Soobin entered with the doctor and noticed Yeonjun. He bowed while greeting and gave a very cute smile. Seeing his cute but beautiful smile, Yeonjun also got whipped and understood why Beomgyu had feelings for him.

"I have to leave now." Yeonjun said and stood up. Before he left, he showed both his thumbs as he was wishing Beomgyu the best of luck. Beomgyu got what he was trying to say and blushed.

"How are you feeling now? Do you feel any abnormalities anywhere? Are you feeling dizzy now?" The doctor began to interrogate Beomgyu. After some time when the doctor finished his inquiry, he prescribed some medicine and assured him that he could leave the hospital after the day.

"Thank you, doctor!" Soobin bowed to the doctor when he was going to leave.

"Um....can I ask now, how much money do you have to return? And why are you under so much debt?" Beomgyu asked while looking at Soobin.

"Y-You need to get some rest. I'll go and...." Soobin was making a move but stopped as Beomgyu suddenly grabbed his hand.

"Please don't leave me in the dark. I-I want to know you. C-Can't I? Why do you always avoid these questions? Am I not capable of knowing about you? You know everything about me. Even Yeonjun hyung doesn't know about me. But you do. So, can't you just tell me? Maybe I can't help but at least you'd feel light-hearted if you shared your burdens with me. And I don't want anyone else to know about you more than me." Beomgyu said everything with a pitiful voice and looked at Soobin's eyes. Soobin was hesitating but he just couldn't stand those puppy eyes anymore.
