Chapter 37: I like you

"So what if I tell you that I like you?" Hearing that Taehyun was in shock but he didn't know why he also felt happy and relieved.

"This is why you were ignoring me?" Taehyun tried to calm down and asked while putting on a sweet smile.

"Eh?" as Jungwon didn't think Taehyun may ask him questions instead of replying, he was surprised. But when he noticed Taehyun wasn't surprised enough by his questions, he couldn't find what he should do in the situation. He was so embarrassed that he tried to dig his own grave and went inside it. He couldn't look at Taehyun and it seemed like he was turning into a stone.

"Jungwon-ah! I never thought you'd like some random guy like me. But shouldn't you be clear before you abandon me? What am I to you? A doll? Or a stray cat? Whenever you'd like me, you'd come to me but when you'd think you're done playing with me, you'd throw me! Is that what you think of me?" Taehyun asked not angrily but calmly.

"No, hyung! I-I just thought....." Jungwon was disheartened by Taehyun's sudden attack. He never thought of him as a random guy. Nor did he think of him as a playful thing.

"Hm? What? You what? What's wrong with you, Jungwon? If you like someone, you should let him know, not avoid him! This can't make anything clear. Instead of finding a result, do you know how much you hurt me?" Taehyun was getting emotional just by looking at the boy's pitiful face. Seems like it was Taehyun who was hurting the boy badly though it was not the case.

"I'm sorry, hyung! I never meant to hurt you. It was just.....I just couldn't figure out what I should do and I thought you'd hate me if I confessed to you. Moreover, because of me, you got into that accident. So, I thought it'd be better to stay away from you." Jungwon got teary eyes and his voice started fading slowly.

"Why did you keep saying that you're guilty? You did nothing! You were standing far from me! It was my fault that I was in such a hurry and I didn't notice if there was someone around me." Taehyun was surprised but he was explaining as much as he remembered.

"Actually..." Jungwon pulled Taehyun with him and came outside. When they came into the park, they sat on a bench and then Jungwon explained everything as he knew he couldn't keep things from Taehyun anymore. After hearing everything Taehyun was turned into a stone since he never could guess what the boy had experienced.

"A-Are Y-You angry at me, hyung?" Jungwon hesitated.

"NO! How can I? You should've told me sooner! I had no idea what you've been going through! I don't mind what you were and what you are now! I just want to stay by your side and protect you from now on. It was a relief that he harmed me instead of you. Even if he shot a bullet, I'd gladly take the shot to protect you." Taehyun's voice was so soft that it made the boy cry out.

"I'm sorry, Hyung! I never wanted to avoid you. I was just afraid of losing you." Jungwon cried while saying. His head was down and he was looking so adorable that Taehyun couldn't resist himself by hugging to console him.

"It's okay, it's okay. But from now on, please inform me about everything. Share everything with me, okay?" Taehyun patted his shoulder and this time he noticed that the boy was cute but his shoulder was broader than his even though he was a boxer for a long time.

"Hyung! How about you? I told you how I feel. But you didn't give me an answer. Why are you treating me so nice? Just because we're friends?" Jungwon wanted to hear something that he was eagerly waiting for though he wasn't sure if Taehyun would really say so. Jungwon looked at his eyes but after hearing his questions, Taehyun looked confused and put his hands back. Actually, he was thinking about it after he woke up. Jungwon already introduced him as his boyfriend to his brother. This is why he was thinking about it for day and night which made him miss the little boy more. And after a lot of controversy with his own mind, he came up with a conclusion.

"Why? You can't answer? It's okay if you don't think of me that way. I'll try my best to retreat from my feelings." He answered and looked down. Taehyun came back to his senses and looked at the boy. He slowly touched his chin and made him look at him. Both of them were looking at each other. Jungwon was confused but also disappointed as he thought Taehyun already rejected him.

"You don't need to...." Jungwon couldn't finish his sentence.

*mmmh*

Taehyun already came closer to him and locked his lips with Jungwon's.

"I like you too." Taehyun released Jungwon and said with a very low voice while breathing heavily. Both of them could hear their own heartbeat. Jungwon was so surprised but also blushed. At the same time, it felt so good that he thought he shouldn't wake up if it's a dream.

"Pinch me." he asked smilingly. Taehyun chuckled and pinched the boy's cheek softly then said,

"It's not a dream, you fool!" Jungwon looked around and noticed the two of them were alone there. If he didn't seize the moment right then, he'd regret it. Taehyun felt so happy but also sad just by thinking what the boy had gone through and it must be hard for him to get over. But he didn't know the boy wasn't thinking about anything else except for him. Surprising him, he grabbed his collar and pulled him closer as he wanted a better taste of his lips. He bit Taehyun's lips and it tempted him. He also kissed the boy passionately until both of them were out of their breath.

"Hey! How long are you gonna sleep? Enough of your drama! Now wake up! Or else I'm gonna leave you here and never come back to you. Hmph!" Soobin was cursing Beomgyu who was still in a coma, lying on the hospital bed. But his condition was getting better and now he could hear everything that Soobin was saying to him. His finger was trembling as he was trying his best to move them. After nagging for some time, Soobin noticed that Beomgyu's fingers were moving slowly. He was standing beside him but seeing that he sat on his knees on the floor and held his hand.

"Beomgyu-ah! Hey! Beomgyu! Do you hear me?" Soobin had a mixed feeling so it wasn't clear if he was happy or sad. Then he noticed his eyelids were moving too. Soobin came to his face and asked the same if he could hear him or not. He was smiling but he also got teary eyes at the same time. Beomgyu slowly opened his eyes and saw the terrible face of Soobin. He smirked as soon as he opened his eyes.

"Is this how you make one wake up?" Beomgyu said with a very low and broken voice since he couldn't speak well. Soobin was so happy to see him that he lost his mind and didn't notice what he was doing. He held his hand and kissed it while crying.

"Hmm. I'd scold you, tore you apart if you didn't wake up."

"Then pretend that I didn't wake up so scold me. I wanna see you angry." Beomgyu smiled and said with his broken voice. In reply Soobin just laughed while dropping his tears with a low sound. He kissed Beomgyu's hand again as he couldn't stop himself from. being too happy.
