Chapter 34: The stalking game

Soobin came outside of the store. He was going to take his leave early since he wasn't feeling well. But then again, he quickly got inside and closed the door well as if he was trying to hide from someone. He peeked outside again and again to check if that person whom he was hiding from took his leave or not. He was standing right behind the door. His eyes were searching for a way to get rid of the person. But alas! There wasn't any other exit instead of the door behind him.

After some time he came outside but it wasn't looking like Soobin because he covered his face with a black mask and he was wearing black full sleeved shirt and pants. There was a black cap on his head and because of this, his face wasn't seen at all. So, people can mistake him by thinking of a random goon who came to the store to buy something. He nearly sneaked out from the store as if he just stole something from there. He was walking fast to avoid the guy who started to follow him. Both of them were walking (nearly running) fast. There was a small alley near the big street and Soobin went inside the alley. After that the bull guy who was following him, lost Soobin and was searching for him all around.

[On the other side]

Beomgyu thought he should go to Soobin and ask him why he was living such a poor life when his dad was that rich and he wanted to make sure if his dad was really a bad guy or it was just a dream. So he was coming to the store since he knew he could find Soobin here. He was standing a little far when he saw a guy just like Soobin came outside of the store. Beomgyu wondered who it was and why he was covering himself from head to toe.

"Isn't it Soobin? Yes, it is!" Beomgyu was sure that it was Soobin when he took a good look at the guy.

"But why is he acting strange? Why is he wearing a mask like that? Should I follow him? No! It can be another person! So I'd be called a stalker if it's not Soobin. But his figure is just like Soobin! And I'm really curious what he is up to! Ah! What should I do!" Beomgyu was hesitating if he should follow his friend or just go and make sure if it was really his friend or someone else. After conflicting with himself for some moments, Beomgyu started to follow him but he couldn't catch up with him since he was walking too fast. But suddenly he realized that he wasn't the only person who was following Soobin. There was another guy in front of him, who was following Soobin before him.

"Who is it? Why is he also following him? Then am I following the wrong person? No! Not at all! I can recognize Soobin just by looking at his body. He is too slim to be a guy. So, it's not possible that the person I'm following is someone else. But why is this guy following him? Did he owe him money? Ah! Yes! Taehyun said earlier that Soobin might be under loans and he must've come to him for his debts. But maybe Soobin doesn't have money and he was trying to hide from the loan sharks. But he doesn't even know that the loan sharks are following him! What if he tried to hamper Soobin? What can he do! He's such a softie! He can't even prevent himself!

Though it's not my problem, I should help him! Hmm. I have to help him and save him. I'm quite strong so I can just fight the guy and give him some time to escape." Beomgyu was thinking a lot while following them. Suddenly he noticed that he also lost Soobin and both Beomgyu and the guy were looking for him. While both of them were searching for Soobin, their eyes met with each other and Beomgyu glared at the guy as if he was going to destroy the person right then. He noticed that there was nobody else except for the two of them.

"WHO ARE YOU? WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING HIM?" Beomgyu asked, being furious. The guy didn't notice him well at first. But when he heard the question, he understood that the fellow guy was also stalking Soobin just like him. He came near Beomgyu and took a good look at him.

"Heh! Then who the f*ck are you? Why are you following him?" his voice was quite scary but Beomgyu wasn't a person to be afraid of someone that easily.

"I'm his friend. You must've that loan shark chasing after him for a long time, right? I know he might be under debt but can't you just consider his situation? How poor life he's leading? How can you guys chase after him because of his father? His dad wasn't a decent guy but he is! Please go away from his life and let him live in peace! You can do that, right? And if you need the money that much, then you can ask me, I can pay instead of him, okay?" Beomgyu said so much without knowing anything and when he said he can pay instead of Soobin, he made a plan that he'd work harder and earn lots of money and then he'd pay the debt on behalf of Soobin. But he had no idea that all of it was just a misunderstanding, nothing else.

"Brat! You don't know anything so f*ck off! I have to find him or else he'd kill me. He just gave me one job but you just ruined it! Don't be so nosy, Kid! Go home and stay away from others' lives." the guy smirked and pushed him with his own body to pass beside him.

"What do you mean I have no idea? Then who are you? Why are you secretly keeping eyes on him? Who would kill you? What's going on? Tell me! I have to know." Beomgyu grabbed the guy's suit and asked with a very firm but cold voice.

"I told you to stay away from this! It's not your business! You're getting on my nerves!" The guy was quite angry and it made him look scarier.

"I won't let you go after him until you tell me the reason." Beomgyu held the guy's arm with his hands and wasn't letting him go.

"Well, You asked for it." saying that the guy suddenly punched Beomgyu's face which made him loosen his grip and made him fall on the ground.

"Ah!" Beomgyu held his nose and noticed that he got a nosebleed just from getting a punch. Though he was afraid, he stood up and went after the guy. He was determined to beat the guy up as he started the fight. Beomgyu went to punch the guy from behind but he sensed it and blocked his grip with his hand and started to twist his hand. But Beomgyu kicked his private part and made him fall.

"Huh! You think you can win against me?" Beomgyu smirked and wiped his face since he had blood on his face. Then he turned around and started walking to find Soobin.

But he couldn't walk as the guy stood up and hit his head with a heavy thing. After getting hit, he was feeling that the world was spinning around him and he couldn't keep his eyes open. He fell on the ground but he wasn't fully unconscious. He just couldn't move his body anymore.
