Chapter 07: The strange feelings

YeonJun was studying in his room since he had an exam the next morning but he didn't lock his room. He was wearing glasses and holding a pen. He was also wearing airpods and listening to songs. He was trying to solve some mathematical problems and he was quite into it.

At that time HyuningKai came inside the room hugging a pillow. But YeonJun didn't notice him at first. HyuningKai went to him and stood behind him. To check on his brother, he bends down and comes closer to YeonJun. His face nearly touched YeonJun's face and YeonJun could feel there was someone or something. So he faced Kai to look if there was something but he didn't imagine he would see something like that. His lips touched Kai's cheek because he was also turning his head towards YeonJun.

"WHAT THE HELL! YOU SCARED ME!" YeonJun moved back and shouted. YeonJun could feel his heart beating at its top speed. He got a huge shock from what just happened. Though it was not that hot, he started sweating all of a sudden.

"Hyung! What are you doing?" Kai backed a little and asked gently.

"I WAS DOING MATH! MATH! CAN'T YOU SEE IT? YOU GET ME SCARED OUT OF HELL!" YeonJun suddenly started yelling at HyuningKai though he knew his Ning Ning didn't do it on purpose.

"Hyung!" Kai got upset and looked at the floor because he didn't know what he had done wrong.

"Ah! I'm sorry but...you startled me." YeonJun was a little loud before but he slowly decreased his voice and looked away. He can't bear it when HyuningKai has this disappointing look on his face.

"Why haven't you slept yet?" YeonJun looked at HyuningKai and put his hand on his back and asked with an adoring voice. HyuningKai was still hugging his pillow and now he hugged it more tightly.

"I can't sleep. You know, I can't sleep if I don't hug anyone." HyuningKai replied. His voice nearly cracked and seemed like he was about to cry.

"So, you came here to sleep?" YeonJun asked with an astonishing face though it wasn't new to him. HyuningKai always comes to his room though he has his own room. Most often, YeonJun went to sleep first and when he woke up in the middle of night, he found HyuningKai sleeping beside him either hugging his real pillow or his human pillow. Kai nodded to reply YeonJun making a very cute face.

"Whyyyyyyy? Can't you sleep a single night in your room? Why do you always come to my room? Can't you go to Beomgyu's room instead? You don't let me sleep because you hug way too tightly." YeonJun was getting louder but he controlled himself and took a deep breath.

"B-But Beomgyu always locked his door. So, I can't go inside his room." Kai replied with a very disappointing face.

"Okay, just go to bed. I have so much to do. Maybe I can't sleep tonight. So, hug your pillow instead of me. And also, change your habits. I can't be your human pillow for any longer." YeonJun made an irritated face even though it wasn't his real feelings.

"Okie dokie." HyuningKai went to YeonJun's bed and jumped on it. YeonJun put his hand on his forehead and it covered one of his too. He sighed and thought about what he just did. That strange feeling came again when he kissed Kai and he just can't forget about it now.

"What's wrong with me? Why can't I forget about it? And why do I want to kiss him more? Ah! I'm such a f*cking sh*t! I don't deserve to be in this world!" YeonJun was thinking about it and continued cursing himself. He was so frustrated with himself and he knows if he does something to Kai and hurts him, he can't forgive himself. He tried to focus on his study again but he just couldn't. The scenery from earlier kept popping up in front of him and if he felt happy once but felt angry on himself the other time.

He couldn't study anymore. So he closed his books and stood up. He looked at HyuningKai and saw he was lying on the bed closing his eyes. Seems like he has already fallen asleep by hugging the pillow. He turned off the lights as he didn't want to disturb Kai and took a long breath. He was so confused about what he should do about Kai, about himself and about now. The boy looked like a piece of art. Maybe he would fit for a sculpture in a museum. Such an innocent, such a good figure, such a handsome but angelic look someone had never seen before. So, he could get all of the customers' attention and the museum would earn a lump sum of profit just because of him. YeonJun wanted to touch the sculpture while thinking about these strange things. He went closer while bending. He thought Kai was sleeping already so he wouldn't notice him.

Actually, he fell asleep a while ago but maybe he was having a dream. YeonJun extended his hand to touch the cheek of Kai. He gulped and felt nervous all of a sudden. Right at that time, Hyuning left the pillow and held YeonJun's neck and made him fall on him. YeonJun couldn't resist himself because it was all of a sudden and he didn't expect something like that. He fell on Kai and he thought he was awake now. His lips touched Kai's lips for a second and YeonJun moved his face as soon as possible. But his heart stopped beating for a while. He couldn't think about anything. He felt hot and his face turned red. He tried to exceed himself but Kai was holding him too tightly.

"Please, leave me! Please! I can't take it anymore!" YeonJun was mumbling with a low voice but he couldn't get rid of Kai no matter how hard he tried.

"Hyung! Taehyun Hyung!" Jungwon called him from behind. Taehyun was walking on his way home. Seems like his mother told him to visit the grocery shop and buy something for her. He had a shopping bag on one hand and was scrolling his phone screen with his other hand. At that time Jungwon, the junior of their college called him from behind and he looked around to search for him. He turned back and saw the cute boy's face with a very big smile. Seeing Taehyun turning his way, Jungwon waved his hand to say hi to Taehyun.

"Oh! Jungwon-ah!" Taehyun also waved his hand which was grabbing the phone. Jungwon was looking very cute in his white colored big size full sleeved shirt.

"Hyung! I was searching for you everywhere!" Jungwon said and came to Taehyun. His black colored bangs covered his forehead as always. Though he was very slim, his shoulder was wide as a soldier. Every time Taehyun sees him, he feels like the world around him stopped and became dark but this one person was the only source of light in the dark world. He couldn't notice anything else and just wanted to look at him until he went away from his eyesight. Taehyun was staring at Jungwon as he was fascinated by the boy's cuteness. But his small face was telling something else. Jungwon thought he was disturbed by him and that's why Taehyun was giving him a death glare.

"Ah! I'm sorry if I bother you but I want you." Jungwon said before Taehyun opened his mouth to talk. Taehyun couldn't believe what he just heard. To confirm whether he heard it correctly or not, he asked, shocked, "Eh?"

"Oh?" Jungwon couldn't understand Taehyun's face but then he realized he said his sentence in the wrong way. "T-That's not what I meant! I mean... I...C-c..... I....." Jungwon was faltering too much as he couldn't say his words because he suddenly got afraid.

"Hey! Slow down! Spill it slowly. What's wrong?" Taehyun realized he made a mistake and he was trying to say something to him. He went closer and put his hand on Jungwon's shoulder.

"Can you be my partner?" Jungwon finally asked Taehyun, closing both of his eyes. Hearing it, Taehyun's heart started beating fast. He blushed and couldn't understand what was going on around him.
